Limp Bizkit - Shark Attack

My favourite track from Limp Bizkit's long overdue sixth studio album, Gold Cobra, which is their first release since 2005. This album, due June 28th, sees the group back to their vicious best, mixing elements of Rock and Rap in a way that only they can. 14 years deep, and they are still Rollin'.

Kasabian - Switchblade Smiles

After a few years off, Kasabian are back with their brand new single, Switchblade Smiles. The first minute has a bit of an electro feel to it, but after that we are blessed with the ever recognisable thumping drums and heavily distorted bass that we have come to love over the past 6 years. Big fan. Pre-order the album HERE and get your copy of this straight away.

Lenny Kravitz - Stand

Lenny's lead single from his upcoming highly-anticipated ninth studio album, Black And White America. Uplifting soft rock that sounds like it's come straight out of the 60s. Super stuff, Mr. Kravitz.

City And Colour - We Found Each Other In The Dark x The Grand Optimist

Here are my two favourite tracks from Little Hell, which is the third album by City And Colour, an acoustic side project of Alexisonfire vocalist/guitarist Dallas Green. It will be released on June 7th and is the highly-anticipated follow-up to the 2008’s Bring Me Your Love, which was certified platinum in Green’s native Canada. The album is worth buying for these two tracks alone. We Found Each Other In The Dark is one of the most beautiful love songs I've heard for an incredibly long time.

Coldplay - Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall

Earlier today Fearne Cotton played the world premiere of Coldplay's lead single from their upcoming fifth studio album, which is a follow up to the 2008 release, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. Wasn't too sure what to expect when I saw the cover last week, but I like it, a lot. This will sound massive at Glasto.

Arctic Monkeys - The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala

My favourite track off the 4th studio album from the Arctic Monkeys, Suck It See, which will be available on June 6th. Doubt they will ever reach the Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not days, but this was still a very enjoyable listen.

Miles Kane - Counting Down The Days

Indie/Alternative isn't usually my kind of thing; however Miles Kane is an incredibly talented musician and an exceptional lyricist. His debut solo album was released yesterday, and here is my favourite track from it.

The Morning Sun

My favourite track from Beady Eye’s debut album, ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’, which will be available on February 28th. The band was formed in 2009 by former members of Oasis, following the exit of songwriter Noel Gallagher. Noel was always the talented one, Liam was always the clown of the group, and this shows in certain parts on the album. Okay, but not great.

Codex

This is my favourite piece from Radiohead’s melodic new album, The King Of Limbs. It offers just eight tracks and lasts a mere 37 minutes, and it’s clear that it wasn’t intended as a major statement, but nevertheless it’s classic Radiohead and Thom Yorke never fails to amaze me. You can get a digital copy HERE and you can purchase a copy on March 29th, if you so wish.
