Kwabs - Walk (Acoustic - In The House)
The Guardian pops round to Kwabs' home to have a chat and watch him perform his new single 'Walk', in a pair of slippers. 'Walk' will be release on October 5th and is available HERE.
Joel Baker - Fall From Here (Live @ Nottingham Contemp)
Filmed during a recent live performance at the Nottingham Contemporary, up and coming singer-songwriter Joel Baker performs a brand new and previously unheard track entitled 'Fall From Here'. I talk up a lot of very talented singer-songwriters on this blog, but as I believe this video proves, I honestly thinks Joel Baker is the real deal. Future megastar in the making.
Joel Baker - Waves (Mr Probz Cover)
The immensely talented Joel Baker performs a stripped-back acoustic cover of Mr Probz's recent hit single 'Waves' for Reload Sessions and showcases just how talented he really is. Check out more from Joel HERE and expect to be hearing a lot more of his name in the very near future.
Laura Welsh - Here For You (Stripped Version)
Laura Welsh performs a beautiful stripped back version of Gorgon City's latest single, on which she features. Order the original HERE and check out the official video after the jump.
Caitlyn Scarlett - Jurassic Jukebox & Other Drugs
Cool, sexy and talented - those are just three of the words I would use to describe the wonderful Caitlyn Scarlett, who I was introduced to last night thanks to Sofar Sounds x SME in Hackney, where she played alongside Context and George The Poet. Check out Caitlyn's debut EP below, and keep an eye out for this name in the coming months...
Ed Sheeran - F64 (SB.TV)
Ed Sheeran hooks up with Jamal Edwards for a surprise F64 for SB.TV and absolutely smashes it. Great to see that despite all his success, Ed still knows how to keep it real. Recorded all in one take too. Sick.
Ed Sheeran - Don't
Only Ed could spend so long away and then bless us with 3 brand new tracks all in the space of a week. While one may have been a Beyoncé cover, his latest offering 'Don't', as performed live on SNL last night, is very much the real deal and you can expect to hear it in full featured alongside 'Sing', his new collaboration with Pharrell, on his highly anticipated sophmore album X, due out June 23rd. Mark my words, Sheeran-mania is about to take over the world.
Banks - Are You That Somebody / Brain
It's not very often I post 2 Live Lounge sessions in one day, let alone one after the other, but Banks' acoustic renditions of her own single 'Brain' and Aaliyah's 'Are You That Somebody' are quite simply too good to leave out. Stunning.
