A Tribe Called Quest - Stressed Out (ManOnWire Throw Back)
ManOnWire takes us right back and adds his own funky twist to one of my favourite Tribe tracks from Beats, Rhymes & Life. Classic remix, which you can download below.

After the untimely passing of Heavy D the other day, Statik Selektah has created this incredible tribute during an iChat with Lord Sear about the death of the rapper - he brings together Nothin' But Love by Heavy and the all-time Pete Rock & CL Smooth classic, T.R.O.Y. The perfect way to remember another legend that is gone far too soon.
Produced by Alex Mills and co-produced by KEE, here is the new single from Manchester-based Dubstep/Hip-Hop collective Murkage. They've had a huge year thus far, getting recognition from 1Xtra, playing festivals up and down the country and signing a record deal, but this track once again sees the group take another step in the right direction. Music with a message.
After some time away from the band perusing a solo career, Travie McCoy is back at work with the Gym Class Heroes as they ready the release of their fourth studio album and their first album in three years. Below is my favourite track from a rather underwhelming listen. Out November 15th in America and January 30th (2012) in the UK - work that one out?! Anyway, pre-order HERE.
Featuring the UD Vocal Collective, here is a special acoustic performance of the debut single from Warner Bros' latest signing, Clement Marfo & The Frontline. Soul Culture are smashing it with these exclusive performances at the minute and CMTF are without doubt one of the most exciting acts to emerge from the UK scene in 2011. You can pre-order your copy of the single HERE - out November 14th. Fresh...
Everyone seems to be posting the same two tracks (Take Care x The Crew) from Drake's highly anticipated sophmore album, Take Care, which is set for release on November 14th. However, I can't stand the title track with Rihanna, and I think these two are by far and away the most enjoyable pieces of music on the album. Amazing to hear Stevie on the harmonica again and André 3000's verse is nothing short of spectacular, as always. Even though I've always been a huge Drake fan, I didn't like Thank Me Later and still wish he hadn't signed to Young Money, but saying that, Take Care is his most cohesive body of work to date and I'll definitely be supporting him when it drops next week.
One of my favourites and basically the only unheard track from Pusha T's debut major release/EP, Fear Of God II, which is a follow up to the Fear Of God mixtape and will be available November 8th on G.O.O.D. Music. Bangladesh comes through with a huge beat and Push does his thing as ever - can't wait for his debut album. "I just wanna flip it, I just wanna sell it..."
Back in 2008, prior to the release of Universal Mind Control, DJ sourMILK and Just-N-Credible hooked up with Common to put together this mixtape, which pays tribute to the Chicago-born rappers incredible career thus far. UMC was a hugely underwhelming album and this mixtape was criminally overlooked, so with the release of his new album 'The Believer' just around the corner, I thought it would be the perfect time to bring this back and remember why he is one of the greatest MCs to ever live.
