Stevie Wonder - What U Do (Dr Packer Rework)

99% of the posts on this site are new music, but sometimes it's difficult to ignore something as beautiful as this. Here is a recording of Stevie Wonder performing 'I Can't Help It' in the studio, a song he wrote and was given to Michael Jackson for his flawless 'Off The Wall' album. One of the best things ever.
The Whiskey Barons come through with a mid-tempo Disco groove rework of one of the greatest songs of all-time. Get your copy in the player after the jump - this is truly amazing.
Sampling the classic 'Please Don't Go', here is my favourite track from Funky DL's new EP 'Sometimes I Have to Wonder', which is a tribute the iconic Stevie Wonder and a follow up to his incredible Amy Winehouse series. Apparently DL had enough beats to turn this into a full album, but felt that could be a possibility later on down the line - let's hope so, because this is incredible! Download the EP for free HERE.
Footage of Stevie Wonder's ten minute performance at the Queen's Jubilee Concert last night, during which he performed 'Sir Duke', 'Isn't She Lovely', 'Happy Birthday' & 'Superstition'. A legend in every sense of the word.
Shortly following Kevin Costner's heartfelt speech, the legendary Stevie Wonder took to the piano to perform a stunning reworked version of his classic 'Ribbon In The Sky' as a tribute to the late Whitney Houston. The two were good friends, and apparently this was one of her favourite songs. Amazing, simply amazing.
My two favourite tracks from Paul McCartney's new album, Kisses On The Bottom, which is set to be released February 7th and is the first release from the singer/songwriter since 2007. 'Only Our Hearts' is a new collaboration with fellow legend Stevie Wonder on the Harmonica and 'Home (When Shadows Fall)' is a brilliant interpretation of Sam Cooke's 1963 classic. As he explains, "This is a collection of classic songs that inspired me to write songs - it's the type album you listen to at home after work, with a glass of wine or a cup of tea".
Common performed in front of a sold out crowd at the House Of Blues last night and brought out musical legend Stevie Wonder to share a special moment with him on stage. Two of my favourite artists ever.
Stevie pops in to see Ellen Degeneres and perform one of his (countless) all-time classics. One of the greatest men to ever walk the Earth - blows my mind every time I see him take to the stage.
