Statik Selektah - Carry On (Feat. Joey Bada$$ & Freddie Gibbs)
Statik, Joey & Freddie = a dynamite collaboration and proving that Hip-Hop is well and truly alive in 2014.
Dirty Sanchez - 147 (Feat. Rokamouth, A La Sole, Joey Bada$$, & DJ Statik Selektah)
I'll let Dirty Sanchez explain this one, because it's just too good for me to add anything of note...
Joey Bada$$ - Word Is Bond (Prod. Statik Selektah)
The first single off the forthcoming full length Pro Era mixtape 'Summer Knights' aired for the first time last night via the Brooklyn based Hip-Hop collective's Soundcloud account. Available as a free download in the player below, if this is anything to go by June 12th can't come soon enough. Too dope.
Strong Arm Steady & Statik Selektah - Classic
'Classic' is one of the standout tracks from the 6-track EP sampler for the forthcoming collaborative album from Strong Arm Steady & Statik Selektah. The album is called 'Stereotype' and will drop September 3rd on Stones Throw. Two heavyweight Hip-Hop acts together = dope music.
1982 (Statik Selektah & Termanology) - Too Long x Up Every Night
Here are two of my favourite joints from Statik Selektah & Termaology's forthcoming sophmore collaborative album '2012', which is set for release on Tuesday. The beats, samples, features and rhymes are all spot on from start to finish, and all of these elements make this is a top contender for Hip-Hop album of the year. Pre-order HERE.
1982 (Statik Selektah & Termanology) - Thug Poets (Feat. Roc Marciano & Havoc)
Featuring the legendary Havoc and upcoming starlet Roc Marciano, 'Thug Poets' is the latest track to leak from 1982's debut project '2012', which is a Hip-Hop duo made up of Statik Selektah & Termanology. The production is amazing, the rhymes are on point and this has me very much looking forward to the May 22nd release date.
Obie Trice - Richard (Feat. Eminem)
After a snippet dropped a while ago, you can now heard the full version of the Statik Selektah produced and Eminem featuring single from Obie Trice's forthcoming album 'Bottoms Up'. April 3rd is the release date - it's pretty good album, I've always had time for Obie.
