Misha B - Home Run (Prod. MNEK)

After bringing you the Zed Bias remix last month, here is the original of the debut single from X Factor finalist Misha, which is produced by young starlet MNEK. Drawing on influences from the wide diversity of genres in her musical bakground, this is a very solid lead single - refreshing to see something so unique from someone who was shot into the spotlight by a reality show. No doubt that Misha B can stand on her own two feet as a solo artist after hearing this.

Lauren Housley - My Baby Cry

Produced by Tom Dibb, 'My Baby Cry' is my favourite track from Manchester-based Soul singer Lauren Housley's forthcoming debut EP 'One Step Closer', which is set for release on June 11th. The 5 tracks all have a completely unique sound, but Lauren's breath-taking vocals and refreshing writing skills make this an incredibly cohesive and enjoyable listen. Her voice would sound at home alongside Soul legends such as Ray Charles, and with the evident Northern Soul influences, 'One Step Closer' brings everything that was positive about 60s/70s straight into the 21st Century. You can check out an exclusive preview of the EP HERE and follow Lauren on Twitter HERE. Love, love, love.

During his time in America, Ed Sheeran performs an extended version of 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' during an exclusive session live at Hinge Studios in Chicago for The Live Room on The Warner Sound. Seen him play this live about 100 times, and it's still as sick as ever. Also, check out an extended version of 'Give Me Love' after the jump too.

Cheryl (Cole) - Call My Name (Royal T 'Back To 99' Remix)

Now anyone who is a regular visitor to this site, you will know that there will only be a Cheryl Cole post on here if there is good reasoning behind it. The reasoning behind this post is that Grime/Garage producer Royal T has flipped Cheryl's new single on its head and made it more than listenable. The original (which is produced by Calvin Harris) sounds like any other Electro-Pop tune in the charts right now, but the Southampton-born producer has gone all the way in with his rework and created a really enjoyable alternative. Out June 10th.
