Grieves - Heartbreak Hotel x Bloody Poetry

Two of my favourite joints from Together/Apart, which is the Rhymesayers debut album from Grieves. He has teamed up with longtime friend and producer Budo to create an album infused with soulful horns, keys and guitar. Lyrically the album encompasses both the difficulties and joys of maintaining his professional and personal relationships on the road and back at home. Super dope.

Slakah The Beatchild - Cure (Feat. The Promise)

A new joint from the multi-talented Canadian rapper/producer/singer, Slakah The Beatchild. For me, he is one of the most under-rated artists out there - this is as smooth as ever. Oh baby.

Pete Rock & Smif-N-Wessun - Roses (Feat. Freeway) x Feel Me (Feat. Rock of Heltah Skeltah & Bun B)

Here are my two favourite joints from Pete Rock & Smif-N-Wessun's upcoming collaborative album, Monumental, which will be available to download on June 28th. Pete has provided the entire production for the album, as well as vocals on several key tracks, including the title track itself. These two feature ex-Rocafella signee Freeway, Rock of Heltah Skeltah and Hip-Hop legend Bun B - on top of the singles/leaks, this gives you on idea of what you can expect from the rest of the release. Guaranteed to be one of the best Hip-Hop albums of the year.

Clement Marfo & The Frontline - Champion (A64)

Clement Marfo & The Frontline is a 7 piece band from South London, who are incredibly talented and refreshing. They have dope rhymes, lots of soul and a clear passion for what they are doing, which comes through in their music. Here is their brilliant A64 that was put up today, and you can also watch a sick performance that they did for ID Online last week, HERE. Expecting exciting things from this lot.

50 Cent - Outlaw

So, 50 still has it - who knew? Here is the lead single from his upcoming studio album. I've got a lot of time for this.

The Roots & NaS Live @ The Roots Picnic

On the 4th June, The Roots took to the stage at the infamous Roots Picnic where they performed all of my favourite tracks from their latest album, How I Got Over, mixed with a selection of their classic hits. Then, half way through the set, they brought out Mr. Nasir Jones, who performed 8 tracks with the legendary band. This is a must hear for everyone, so here is the download link for the entire performance. NaS and Black Thought are the Kings.

J. Cole - Work Out

Sampling KanYe's Workout Plan, here is the brilliant first single off J. Cole's highly anticipated debut album, Cole World, which will be released later this year. This boy is a genius, and a breath of fresh air to the game.

KanYe West - Mamas Boyfriend

Here is the long awaited final version of the track that KanYe freestyled at the Facebook HQ last year. Everything about this is epic. I know it probably didn't fit the concept, but I wish that this would have made MBDTF.

Mellowhype - 64

A very strange video for Mellowhype's new single, 64. Still not sure about Odd Future - this song isn't very good, and sounds a lot like 99% of their discography.

Chase & Status - Hitz (Feat. Tinie Tempah)

Not a fan of the new chorus (in fact I hate it), but here are some dope visuals for one of my favourite tracks from Chase & Status' monstrous new album, No More Idols. Tinie kills it.
