DJ TP - We Are S.M.E. Christmas Mix

DJ TP has put together this brand new mix for We Are S.M.E, one of my favourite music blogs, as a special Christmas present for both them and their readers. The mix isn't really Christmas-based, but it's the type of music you can come to expect if you go down to one of SME's fun-filled nights, which have taken off in 2011. Hit the jump to download/listen to the mix and get the full tracklist. SME.

Talib Kweli - Distractions (Prod. Oh No)

The first leak off Talib Kweli's forthcoming sixth studio album, Prisoner Of Conscious, which is set for an early 2012 release. Amazing beat as ever from Oh No, and the lyrics are extremely relevant and thought-provoking. Big love for this.

Emilio Rojas - Blame Me (Feat. Nikkiya)

An incredibly smooth new track from one of the most under-rated rappers around, Emilio Rojas. A little different to his normal stuff, but this is amazing, and nice to see some versatility. Breaking Points coming early 2012.

Common - Be (Instrumentals) (Free Download)

With the release of his ninth studio album just around the corner, what better a time to revisit one of Common's classics. 'Be' was the sixth album from the Chicago-born rapper and was released in 2005 on G.O.O.D. Music and Geffen Records. The album was primarily produced by fellow Chicagoan and G.O.O.D. Music label owner KanYe West - it peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 album chart and was Common's second album to sell over 500,000 copies (over 800,000 copies sold). A classic in every sense of the word and some of the best Hip-Hop production of the 21st Century. Listen to two instrumentals below and pick up all 12 HERE. My favourite rapper of all-time.

50 Cent - Wait Until Tonight (Video)

50 releases the video for my favourite track from his new street album, The Big 10, which was released earlier this week (for free). This Bobby Womack sampling cut is the third track to be given the visual treatment and is the type of refreshing music Curtis should be making on a more regular basis. Download HERE.

Akira The Don - Nothing Lasts Forever (Feat. Envy) (Video)

Some sick visuals for the latest single to be lifted from Akira The Don's sophmore album, The Life Equation, which was released earlier this year. A ridiculously cool guy, with one of the most creative minds in music. Get your copy HERE and follow Akira on Twitter HERE.

Common - Raw (How You Like It) x The Dreamer (Feat. Maya Angelou)

AH YEAH! Here are two of my favourite tracks from Common's highly anticipated ninth studio album, The Dreamer/The Believer, which is set to be released December 20th on Warner Bros. After hearing 4 of the 12 tracks, and knowing No I.D. was behind the boards for the entire project, I had a feeling this was going to be pretty special, but it's exceeded all my expectations after just a handful of listens. Hip-Hop in its purest art form, from my favourite rapper of all-time and one of the greatest producers of all-time. Got nothing else to say about this, but just believe me when I say this album has definitely been worth the wait. Lonnie Lynn & Ernest Wilson have an untouchable chemistry.

Etta Bond - Forgiveness (Solo Acoustic Version)

After bringing you her incredible Ed Sheeran x Arctic Monkeys mash-up last week, Soul Culture have now let loose Etta Bond's acoustic solo version of Wretch 32's latest single, which was released this weekend on Data Records. A refreshing talent, follow her on Twitter HERE. Pick up your copy of Forgiveness HERE.

Project Alfie vs. Jay-Z - Dead President's

Here is the lead track from Project Alfie's forthcoming mixtape, The Project Alfie Mixtape (clever ay?), which is set to be released on December 27th. The track sees Alfie sample 'Dead President's' by Jay-Z, whilst adding some of his own unique Soul/Vintage Pop flavour, thus creating a simply superb piece of music. Always worries me when people play with a classic, but this kid has something really likeable about him, and I'll definitely be downloading the mixtape when it drops.
