U-Tern - You Don't Know Me

U-Tern, not the illegal driving maneuver, but the Canadian producer and one half of Oliver yesterday dropped off this brand new track on his SoundCloud. 'You Don't Know Me' is a sexy and pulsating piece of Nu-Disco, with a beautiful vocal and a bassline that will be sure to get everyone moving towards the dancefloor. Love.

Evil Needle - Disco Inferno

My favourite track from Evil Needle's forthcoming LP 'Cirrostratus', which is set to drop March 29th on Cold Busted. This is funky downtempo Trip-Hop at its very best, and is another wonderful release to add to the already flawless CB back catalogue.

D'Angelo - Live in Stockholm (Video)

OH MY WORD! Live footage of D'Angelo's performance in Stockholm tonight, which was his first gig in 12 years, but you really wouldn't guess it. The Richmond-born Soul singer sounds like he's never been away, drawing on classics from both of his albums and blessing the Swedish crowd with material from his brand new forthcoming release. THE GOD IS BACK!!!!

"CHICKEN GREEEEEASE!!!!"

BamaLoveSoul - A Tribe Called Quest Samples (Vol. 1-4)

The guys over @BamaLoveSoul have been running a little series over the past few weeks, which has seen them hand picking near enough all of the incredible samples that A Tribe Called Quest have used throughout their entire discography. Over the 4 volumes there are 122 samples, including some classics, lots of obscure tracks and some unbelievable drum skits. Download this mind-blowing collection HERE and check out the tracklists out after the jump. Greatest group of all-time.

Slum Village - Fall In Love (Vondeuhlux Remix)

Dilla month is just around the corner, so as you would expect, the remixes/tributes have already started to flood in. Dutch-based producer Vondeuhlux kicks off proceedings with this funky rework of a Slum Village classic. My man.

Vitamin D - Love May Come

Here is the new single from Vitamin D, which is set to be released 25th January on his incredible label, Cold Busted. The signature Cold Busted sound is of course present, but with the uniqueness of D's sampling technique and forward-thinking style, this is another CB special to add to an already incredible back catalogue. Listen, and lose yourself in the music.

Rizzle Kicks - Mama Do The Hump (Benji Boko Remix)

Brighton-based Benji Boko takes Rizzle Kicks' new Fatboy Slim produced single for a twisting and turning funked up ride. I love the original, but this remix is on some futuristic type shit. Get your copy of Stereo Typical HERE.

Amerigo Gazaway - Beanie Weather x Savcloud - Night Before

Sick of the same old Christmas songs...? Well, A Very Busted Christmas: Season 2 is just for you. Following the success of their first Christmas album last Winter, Cold Busted are back with Volume 2, which is set for release on November 30th. The album is basically all the classic festive songs reinvented by the cream of the crop in Trip-Hop/Funk/Downtempo music - below are two of my favourite additions to the compilation. So cool, so fresh.

Smoove & Turrell - Hard Work

Here is my favourite track from Geordie duo Smoove & Turrell's new double A side single, which includes two pieces that are lifted from their smashing sophmore album, Eccentric Audio (released earlier this year). Considering the amount of talent these two men possess, both seem to have had quite understated careers, but it seems together they have found a simply untouchable chemistry. Hard Work sounds like it's come straight off a Motown dancefloor and provides me with some much needed classic head nodding and foot tapping R&B. Available on November 28th.

Mystro - Come We Go

Here is the first piece to be taken from Mystro's forthcoming EP, What Type Of Drug Is MYSTROGEN?, which will be used as a consultation before the full course of Mystrogen (new album) is prescribed next Feb/March. The track was originally demo'd over a beat from Harry Love, but the final version was recorded over a sexy little piece from a Latin/Funk band called Son Veneno. Whatever he does, MysDiggi never disappoints - my favourite UK MC of all-time. Download the track for free from HERE.
