Last night, HW&W Recordings dropped this irresistably cool piece of Hip-Hop onto their Soundcloud courtesy of French beatmaker Evil Needle alongside Elaquent. It's taken from the former's forthcoming Equilibrium tape, which is apparently "coming very soon". Judging by the quality of this particular piece, "very soon" can't come soon enough.

French producer Evil Needle is definitely one of my favourite producers out right now. His brand of laid back Hip-Hop cradles me through the low times, the high times and really high times. His beat tape "Mood" is one of my favourite musical purchases of all time and my decision to give him the spotlight is based mostly on how much he impressed me with it.

My favourite track from Evil Needle's forthcoming LP 'Cirrostratus', which is set to drop March 29th on Cold Busted. This is funky downtempo Trip-Hop at its very best, and is another wonderful release to add to the already flawless CB back catalogue.
