iamcoxhead - Feel The Love Inside

New headphones arrived today, and with the weather still being so lovely, what better time to do a new mix, which is long overdue (evidence of this was the 150 songs in the 'New Mix' playlist). The mix is packed full of brand new House tracks, with a few oldies in there too, and on the whole it's my favourite songs at the minute to play out when the sun is shining like it is. Deep, funky, groovy, soulful - everything I love about House music is in here, so hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Listen, download and tracklist after the jump - stick it on your iPod and then play it when you're next soaking up the sun in the garden, or on the beach if you're lucky enough.

MANIK - Amber Knife

Bringing his funky Nu-Disco style to the table as ever, here is my favourite track from the new EP by Brookyln-based Deep House producer MANIK. Over the past 12 months this guy has rapidly become one of my favourite producers out there, and this new release is just another example as to why. Hell of a tune - dripping with coolness. Cop HERE.

Joey Negro pres. Doug Willis - Don't Want You Back (J Paul Getto's Doesn't Want Anything To Do With You Anymore Mix)

Taken from the forthcoming 'Was Doug A Doughnut' EP on Joey Negro's incredible Z Records, here is J Paul Gettos' sexy mix of my favourite track from Joey's latest release under one of his many wonderful aliases. Nothing but love for Joey Negro, especially under the names of Akabu & Doug Willis - everything that he seems to touch turns to gold. This is out June 18th, HERE. "I don't want yaaa back...!"

KSOZE - Wobble Jazz (Vitamin D Re-Edit)

Cold Busted's head honcho Vitamin D adds his own funky flavour to the new single on his label, which comes courtesy of KSOZE. The original is dope, but this edit/remix takes the track to a whole new level. Both will be available June 13th.

Poldoore - Industry Of Love x But I Do

Following on from Gramatik's 'Street Bangerz Vol. 1, 2 & 3', Krystian Shek's 'Vol. 4' and Slabofmisuse's 'Vol. 5' - Poldoore steps up to bring us 'Street Bangerz Vol. 6', which is set to be released May 30th on Cold Busted. This series has been absolutely flawless thus far, and I'm pleased to say that Poldoore has kept up the trend, opitimising everything that's refreshing about this label - fusing together Trip-Hop with Soul, Funk and many other genres to create a forward-thinking outlook on making music. Below you can check out two of my favourite tracks from the album - if you like them, please be sure to support when it drops. Amazing music.

Lee Webster - Freaky Bitches x Detroit Cheeky Things

Here are two of my favourite tracks from Barcelona-based producer Lee Webster's forthcoming EP, which is set for release June 4th on Glasgow Underground. 'Freaky Bitches' is a groovy piece of Deep House that samples The Notorious B.I.G.'s classic 'Nasty Boy', which has been getting lots of support from the brilliant Waifs & Strays. 'Detroit Cheeky Things' on the otherhand is a sexy Nu-Disco track, which is dripping with funk from start to finish and is accompanied by the most wonderful vocal. Great release.

Hidden Jazz Quartett - High Heels (Feat. Omar)

Any new Omar is good news, but new Omar with a band the calibre of the Hidden Jazz Quartett is great news. The sax-driven jam oozes funk and will be released on June 1st with a more uptempo Lack Of Afro remix, which you can also check out after the jump. Great track.
