Example, Ben Howard & Lost Prophets added to Radio 1's Hackney Weekend

Radio 1 have today confirmed that Example, Ben Howard and the Lost Prophets have been added to this year's Big Weekend on Hackney Marshes. Also added to the bill are B.o.B, Madeon, Santigold, Gyptian, Sway, Delilah, Lethal Bizzle and Enter Shikari. Jay-Z will be headlining the event, which takes place on 23rd & 24th June, with Ed Sheeran and Jessie J also appearing. Feel gutted for anyone who hasn't been booked for this.

Example, Kasabian & Ed Sheeran to headline Ibiza/Mallorca Rocks 2012

After last year was headlined by Katy B, Biffy Clyro & Plan B; Ibiza/Mallorca Rocks have gone 10x better this year, with Example, Kasabian & Ed Sheeran set to be at the top of the bill. Sheeran will headline Mallorca Rocks when it begins on June 5, followed by Ibiza Rocks the following evening. Kasabian will do the same on July 10th/11th, as will Example on August 28th/29th. Alongside these three acts, there are other big names set to appear across the 12-week festival season, including New Order, Tinie Tempah, Chase & Status, Maverick Sabre and many more. Example reveals title of collaboration with Ed Sheeran

Whilst on the red carpet at the Brits last night Example revealed that a track called 'Throw It All Away' with Ed Sheeran is nearly ready for release. Gleave told Capital FM's showbiz reporter Kevin Hughes that they "worked on it a bit in LA and I sent the final vocals to his engineer the other day so we're going to finish it and then we're going to give it away". Example announces headline show in America & Rock AM Ring, Germany

After spending yesterday in Def Jam's offices, London-born singer/songwriter/rapper Example went on to announce a headline show in America and a slot at one of Europe's most famous festivals in Germany, Rock AM Ring. On March 26th, Gleave will be visiting New York for a show at the Gramercy Theatre, with tickets on sale HERE. Rock AM will take place between June 1st-3rd, and you can find out all the info you need for that HERE. Also, if you are an American fan of Example's and cannot make the NYC show, then fear not, because in the near future he will be announcing a 20-date headline tour across the States. Massive.
