Following on from the radio rip last week, here is the studio version of the new Ludacris single, which is produced Lex Luger and samples LL Cool J's classic 'Jingling Baby'. Not exactly ground breaking material, but a fun track, which is what we have come to expect from Luda in recent times. Radio/club friendly.
Sampling the 'Southern Fried Intro' by Ludacris (along with 'The Breaks' by Kurtis Blow & 'If I Had A Choice' by Silverstone), here is the forthcoming single from Rinse FM DJ/Producer Funk Butcher. Butcher produces a wide variety of music, but this will be dropping on his Houseology label, which mainly focuses on his own House productions, along with Hardhouse Banton and a few other exciting signings. Love the groove and can definitely see this making its way into my next mix and Summer playlist - reminds me of an old Jamie Jones production, which is a very good thing. Dirty South, can you feel me...
After having had two number one singles and a number one album in the UK in 2011, London-born Example is set to take the US by storm in 2012 - to help push things forward, legendary rapper Ludacris has added a verse to the anthemic 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me'. Example will be touring America at the end of the year, be on the look out for more details.
Three years after the release of his last solo single, John Legend teams up with Ludacris for this lovely head-nodding R&B jam, which is the lead single for the soundtrack from the upcoming film 'Think Like A Man'. The film will star Kevin Hart, Michael Ealy, Taraji P. Henson, Meagan Good, Terrence J & Gabrielle Union, with the single being released January 31st. Welcome back John.
Sampling Ludacris' Nicki Minaj featuring single from 2010, here is a brand new track by Dubstep producer HULK. Not a fan of the original, but I love what he's done with this, and you can pick it up for free from HERE. My chick bad.
New video for one of the more enjoyable tracks from Quincy Jones’ tribute album, Q: Soul Bossa Nostra. The track is a cover of Q’s own 1960s’ hit Soul Bossa Nova.
New track from David Banner & 9th Wonder’s upcoming collaboration album, Death Of A Pop Star. It features Ludacris & Marsha Ambrosius and if this is anything to go by, then I can’t wait for the album.
