Yeah Maybe x The House of Coxhead - Alibi, Dalston (20/09/14)
Tomorrow night, I'm down at Alibi in Dalston playing some music, for some people, with some friends. Come down if you like to dance in basements... 10pm-3am.
The House of Coxhead: Top 10 Albums of 2013
With 2013 coming to a close, and my favourite songs/remixes in the two posts below, it's time for me to run you through my top 10 albums from the past 12 months. In all honesty, it hasn't been the greatest year for full-length LPs (far too many EPs), but there have definitely been some standouts and a handful that will definitely go down as classics in the future. I'd like to think this selection covers the majority of music you have found on this site - from Pop to Alternative and from Hip-Hop to Dance. My ethos has always been to provide people with a place where they can find music that they wouldn't necessarily find elsewhere, and I feel extremely proud to have been among the first to discover 4 of the acts in this list. I hope you all had a great Christmas, and have a fantastic new year - your support means the world, and 2013 has been the best year of my life. Big. Up.

The House Of Coxhead: Top 20 Remixes Of 2012
My final list of 2012 comes in the form of my Top 20 Remixes of 2012, which is always a fun one to put together, and is helped by the fact that there have been some amazing reworks over the past 12 months. As with many people, I'm sure there was only going to be one winner this year, so hit the jump to see what topped the list, and listen to all 20. Merry Christmas people x
The House Of Coxhead: Top 100 Songs Of 2012
Not necessarily the 100 BEST songs of 2012, but here is The House Of Coxhead's 100 favourite songs of 2012. I tried to make the list as diverse as possible, but it was hard to get it down to 100 when my 2012 playlist has 8,000+ songs. Probably missed out a couple of glaring mistakes, but this is a fair representation of what has stood out for me over the past 12 months. Let me know what would have made your list, and I hope you all have an amazing Christmas!
The House Of Coxhead: Top 20 Albums Of 2012
Pretty self explanatory really - my 20 favourite albums of 2012, with a few notable mentions to go with it. A pretty fantastic year for music, if you ask me. Make sure you listen to any of these that you haven't, and let know if there any others that would have made your list! Bring on 2013...
The House Of Coxhead: Sound Of 2013 (Part 1)
Seeing as though every man and his dog is doing a 'Sound Of 2013' list this year, I thought it was only right that The House Of Coxhead gives you some people to watch out for in the new year, who I believe have all the elements to become stars of the future. The list is 10 acts strong and covers a (quite) diverse range of music, including Hip-Hop, Soul, House & R&B. If you've been a regular visitor of the site over the past 12 months, then you should have heard of all these people, but if you haven't, then make sure you do your research and educate yourselves on their music. Part 1 is below, with Part 2 coming later in the week.
WIN Exclusive Signed Example Print by Urban Artist Soap
Following on from the success of the Wretch 32 competition over the past 7 days, it's time to get straight into the second competition from myself and Urban Artist Soap, which will give you all the chance to win one of five exclusive signed prints of singer/rapper Example. Whereas the Wretch painting was only finished last month, this Example portrait was completed at the back end of 2010, with the prints being signed last week at his arena gig in Bournemouth. However, as with the Wretch portait, there are only 7 copies of this painting in the world - the original canvas (which is now owned by Example), a print for myself and the 5 signed prints that are going to be up for grabs in this competition.
