Nicholas - Love Message

Over the past 12 months Italian producer Nicholas has fast become my favourite artist in the House music scene. His ear for a classic sample, the deep grooves and funky basslines in all of his work make for the most magical listening, and this new track from his latest EP is no exception. Released on Home Taping Is Killing Music a few days ago, 'Love Message' is a must have for any music lover - if I could make music, this would be the type of music I would be making. BUY.

Luther Vandross - You Really Started Something

'You Really Started Something' is my favourite track from Luther Vandross' latest posthumous album called 'Hidden Gems', which is a compilation of album tracks, soundtrack offerings and rare live performances that are resonate with Luther's fans. The album is the first time that these songs appear in one place and will allow the casual listener to discover songs they never heard, and the devoted fan the opportunity to re-live what they love about Luther Vandross. One of the greatest of all-time - get your copy HERE.

Just before taking to the stage at his recent album launch, singer/producer/rapper Labrinth performed a special acoustic performance of 'Express Yourself' for SBTV, which is one of my favourite tracks from his debut album. Super soulful and funky.

Lauryn Hill - Nothing Even Matters (Live @ Indigo O2, London)

Lauryn Hill performs 'Nothing Even Matters' live at her first UK show for 5 years, with one of her backing vocalists, Michael. One of my favourite Lauryn tracks, and it's amazing to hear her perform it so well - a legend in every sense of the word.

Jason Mraz - Everything Is Sound x Who's Thinking About You Now?

'Everything Is Sound' and 'Who's Thinking About You Now?' are two of my favourite tracks from American singer/songwriter Jason Mraz's upcoming fourth studio album 'Love Is A Four Letter Word', which is set for release on April 17th. Definitely one of my guilty pleasures, although Mraz is a brilliant musician when you look deeper than the surface - his music makes me very happy. Pre-order.

Frank Ocean - Coachella 2012 (Full Live Performance)

Frank Ocean last night made his debut at the iconic Coachella Festival, which saw the Odd Future star perform a Bob Dylan cover, various tracks from his 'Nostalgia: Ultra' mixtape and 'Analog 2' with pal Tyler The Creator. I'm one of Frank's biggest fans, and think he's a breath of fresh air to the scene, but his live performances lack a bit of something, and I'm not sure what it is yet. Hopefully this improves in time

Jessie Ware - 110% (Prod. Julio Bashmore)

Once again produced by the incredibly diverse Julio Bashmore, '110%' is the new single from Jessie Ware and the follow up to the beautiful 'Running'. The track is taken from her debut album 'Devotion', which is set for release later this year, and is a project that I simply cannot wait to hear. Talent, and then some.
