KanYe West & Jay-Z set to premiere 'Niggas In Paris' video in Shoreditch

Following a mystery memo that was sent out earlier today, rumours have been flying around the Internet that KanYe & Jay-Z are to play a gig in Shoreditch tonight, however that doesn't seem to be the case. Many people now believe that the Village Underground will be hosting a screening of the video for Watch The Throne's new single 'Niggas In Paris', with the broadcast taking place on a billboard on Shoreditch High Street also being suggested by some. Either way, the latter seems much more likely, and it will be premiered for everyone else on MTV at 12.05 EST anyway. The video is set to feature footage from their ground-breaking tour, including a clip where they performed the track 10 times in a row in California.

London tops Britain's illegal downloading chart

Today a new study has revealed that the capital of the United Kingom has topped the chart for most illegal downloads from torrent sites such as Pirate Bay (probably because it's the biggest, just saying). Manchester was the second UK city where illegal downloading was most popular, although the activity was three times more prevalent in London. In the capital Adele, Bruno Mars and Jessie J, were favourites amongst those illegally downloading music, with Ed Sheeran, Amy Winehouse, Olly Murs, Cee Lo Green and Take That being the most popular in Manchester. Liverpool was the third biggest UK city for filesharing, followed by Birmingham and Glasgow. The top five most pirated artists across the whole of the UK were Adele, Jessie J, Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga.

Nicki Minaj's latest Hype Williams directed video has broken the VEVO record for most views in one day, with a staggering 4.8 million on January 20th. However, it's seems as though it's for the all the wrong reasons, with the current statistics standing at likes & 246,612 dislikes. This comes after the news that her pal Rihana has been named as YouTube’s most viewed female on the site with her two billionth view during the week.

Yes Nicki, you really are a stupid hoe.

ACTA: The End of the Internet As We Know It

All words by DigiLove: While internet users across the nation were up in arms over SOPA and PIPA earlier this month, most people are unaware that the United States government signed an international treaty on October 1st of last year, without congressional approval, which many critics are calling far worse than SOPA or PIPA could ever hope to be.

Avicii's Laptop & Hard Drives Stolen from Hotel Room

Last year shocking news surfaced that someone had broken into Skrillex's hotel room in Italy and stole his hard drives - well now it seems the same has happened to Tim Berg/Avicii in Rochester, but whilst he was sleeping! After the theft of Skrillex's possessions many tracks were leaked, thus delaying the release of his debut album, so one can only imagine what this might do to the Swedish-born producers collection. For me it's really upsetting that 'fans' (music fiends) would ever do this to an artist, especially if it was someone that you loved and respected. Hit the jump to see the statement from Avicii and the contact details for if you have ANY information. Tossers.

DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince working on new album

DJ Jazzy Jeff took to his Twitter/Instagram earlier today to post this picture of himself and lifetime friend Will Smith, with the simple caption "Coming soon!". The news that they were planning on hooking up to create a new album leaked a few months ago, but with Big Will having finished Men In Black 3 and now this picture, it seems as though new material is definitely in the works. Nearly 20 years after the release of their last album 'Code Red' in 1993, both are looking much older and have done a lot of living since then, but hopefully Jeff & The Fresh Prince can come through with some refreshingly classic material.

"He's the DJ, I'm the rapper..."
