'Soul Train' creator Don Cornelius commits suicide aged 75

Don Cornelius, the creator of Soul Train, was found dead at his Sherman Oaks home on Wednesday morning. Law officials have announced that they arrived at his home at 4am to find the 75 year old with self inflicted gunshot wounds - the sources have said there was no sign of foul play, but the Los Angeles Police Department are currently investigating. This is incredibly sad news for all music lovers, especially following his 2010 interview with The Times, where he said he was excited about a movie project he was developing about 'Soul Train'.
