G-Fest in Preston announces full line-up

Today has seen G-Fest in Preston announce its full line-up for their Avenham Park event, which is set to take place on Saturday 8th September. R&B singer/songwriter Maverick Sabre will headline the event, with Labrinth, Dappy, Stooshe, Clement Marfo & The Frontline, The Milk and Abandoman also set to make appearances. Ed Sheeran confirmed to perform with Pink Floyd at Olympics Closing Ceremony

Whilst in Australia over the past few days, Ed Sheeran revealed to Nova 106.9 that he will be performing at the Olympics Closing Ceremony with legendary Rock band Pink Floyd. The 21-year old singer/songwriter explained that; "I'm doing a song with Pink Floyd, we'll be doing 'Wish You Were Here'. I will take on vocal duties, with Nick Mason on the drums, accompanied by violinist Stephane Grappelli."

Nina Nesbitt announces new single & UK tour

Following the success of her recent mini-UK tour, Scottish singer/singerwriter Nina Nesbitt has today announced a more extensive tour of the British Isles, which will be coincide with the release of the lead single from her highly anticipated forthcoming debut album. The tour is entitled 'Boy', which is also the title of the single. The release date for the single is set to be announced later this week, with exclusive pre-sale for the tour going up at 9am tomorrow (August 4th) for 48hrs, before general sale will become available on Friday. Shoreditch Street Party - September 29th

On September 29th, Shoreditch will be hosting a massive open-air street party with music coming from Todd Edwards, Paul Woolford, Huxley, Rattus Rattus, plus the one & only MK. Groove Fest add new headliner & Jamie Jones gets new venue

With less than 40 days left to go until Groove Fest, it has this weekend been announced that the legendary Terry Hunter will be a new headliner on the line-up, and Jamie Jones has been given a mesmerising coliseum as the new venue for his highly anticipated set. Groove Fest is set to take place over Puerto Plata's premier vacation resort on Caribbean island of the Dominican Republic for 7 days. Example announces lead single from 4th studio album

Moments ago Example took to his Twitter (whilst in Spain shooting the video) to announce the details for the lead single from his upcoming fourth studio album. The single is called 'Say Nothing' and is produced by Dirty South, with an ever impeccable remix package consisting of TC, Burns, Roska, Foamo & Hardwell. The single will be premiered on Capital FM on Monday 30th July @ 8am, and will be performed at V Festival, along with another new track called 'Perfect Replacement', which is produced by 'Midnight Run' collaborator Feed Me.

Mint Festival announce full line-up

The guys behind the highly respected Mint Club & Mint Warehouse have recently unveiled plans for a new event, Mint Festival. The festival will take place on September 29th from midday-1am @ Lotherton Hall, Leeds, and will see names such as Wolf & Lamb, Jamie Jones, Ben Klock, Joker, Reboot, Michael Woods and many more play the stunning grounds of the hall. The 10,000 capacity festival will host four stages, allowing the festival to bring the city a diverse array of the biggest DJs and live acts in House, Techno, Disco and Drum & Bass.
