Idris Elba Presents mi Mandela
With what has the potential to be one of the most powerful concept albums of recent years, Idris Elba last month anounced the forthcoming release of 'mi Mandela', a musical side project inspired by the late South African President Nelson Mandela that has seen Elba uniter some of South Africa's most talented musicians and producers with a few more familiar musical faces such as Maverick Sabre, James Blake and Mumford & Sons. From the trailer alone this looks incredible, can't wait to hear the album in full.
Maverick Sabre - Emotion (Ain't Nobody) (Official Video)
Brand new visuals to accompany 'Emotion', the first single to be taken from Maverick Sabre's forthcoming and currently untitled sophmore album. Nice little cameo from Joey Bada$$ too. Sick.
Maverick Sabre - Emotion
Given an exclusive world's first play by Mistajam yesterday, Maverick Sabre brings us another track from his his highly anticipated and as of yet untitled sophmore album. 'Emotion', which serves as the follow up to promotional track 'Breathe' unveiled earlier this month, is set to be the first single taken from the new album and sees the Irish singer-songwriter sample Chaka Khan classic 'Ain't Nobody' with stunning results. I can't explain how happy I am to see this man putting out music again. Maverick is back.
