Ed Sheeran announces two Irish dates

It's been a long time coming for some, but Ed Sheeran has announced two dates in Ireland for the beginning of 2013, with tickets going on sale tomorrow (Fri 7th Sept) at 9am. The 21 year old singer/songwriter will first play the Odyssey Arena in Belfast on January 10th, before moving onto the O2 Arena in Dublin the day after. Special guest for Warehouse Project opening night

Although it hasn't been officially announced, it seems as though Example (& DJ Wire) is set to be the special act to join the Rinse FM opening night at Warehouse Project 2012, with the Fulham-born artist retweeting the question "Anyone guess who it is?" in regards to the 'absolutely huge special guest' earlier today. The line-up already included Skream, Diplo, P Money, Zinc, Joker & many more, but the addition of the Dance superstar will undoubtedly take the event to a whole new level. Mint Festival adds fifth arena

If the line-up wasn't already big enough, Mint Festival have this weekend confirmed that they have added a fifth arena, with the exceptional Disco talents of The Revenge, Greg Wilson & PBR Streetgang taking the stage on behalf of local night Asylum. These are three of the most exciting acts in the Disco world and will be playing alongside the likes of Wolf & Lamb, Michael Woods, DJ Marky, Eddie Halliwell & many more. Example reveals producers for 'The Evolution Of Man'

After many rumours and hints as to who is going to provide the beats for his fourth studio album 'The Evolution Of Man', Example today took to his Twitter to reveal the full list of producers. Along with the Dirty South produced lead single 'Say Nothing', the production on the rest of the album will come from Skream, Zane Lowe, Feed Me, Benga, Dillon Francis, Tommy Trash, Sheldrake, Alesso, Friction & Dada Life, with the chance of a couple more being added before the November 18th release date. 'Say Nothing' is out September 16th, pre-order HERE.

Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest (DVD Release)

Following its success in both American & UK cinemas, Michael Rapaport's 'Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest' is set to be released on DVD on the 3rd September, and features a cool re-version of the 'Midnight Marauders' album cover (see below). The best and most moving musical film documentary ever, about the greatest Hip-Hop group to walk the earth. Rough Trade are screening the film tonight (details HERE) and Saturday 15th Septmeber sees the group's Ali Shaheed Muhammad play Plan B in Brixton (tickets HERE). Skrillex announced for Warehouse Project 2012

Over the past few years Dubstep has gone from an underground English movement, to a genre of music that features regularly in charts all around the world. One man who has been at the forefront of the rise in fame of Dubstep is Skrillex, who has today been announced as the headline act for an exclusive UK date at The Warehouse Project on Thursday 6th December. He is not on tour and wasn't scheduled to be landing in the UK at all this winter, but has decided to come and put the new venue through its paces, literally. He's going to be picking the rest of the line-up, which will be announced soon - for now, tickets go on sale 9am Friday morning.

Nina Nesbitt's 'Boy' now available to pre-order

Following the Hostage remix getting lots of support from Radio 1 & 1Xtra over the past few weeks, the EP for the lead single from Nina Nesbitt's debut album is now available to pre-order on iTunes. The EP features the Hostage remix, along with the unheard original, an acoustic version and a demo version of an album track called 'Jessica'. Nina has described the single as "more Rock influenced" than her previous work, so it will be interesting to hear the end product. Out September 9th - pre-order HERE.

Crosstown Rebels Present: Rebellion Rave (Saturday 6th October)

After leaving their mark across Europe this festival season, Damian Lazarus & Crosstown Rebels get straight back to basics by kicking off a new series called Rebellion Rave on October 6th in London. For those who don't know, Rebellion is the underground sister label of Crosstown Rebels and prides itself on showcasing some of the most forward-thinking and unique House artists on the planet. Lupe Fiasco reveals artwork for 'Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1'

Never one to conform to the norm, Lupe Fiasco is currently readying the release of his fourth studio album 'Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1', which is set to drop September 25th on WMG. The album artwork on Lupe's 'Food & Liquor 1' was expressive, colourful and forward-thinking, but this time he has gone with something much more simple - in fact, it couldn't be any more simple. Calvin Harris announces third album title & collaborations

Following a string of hit singles over the past 12 months, Calvin Harris has tonight announced that his third album will be called '18 Months' and features guest appearances from Kelis, Rihanna, Example, Nicky Romero, Ellie Goulding, Tinie Tempah, Florence, Dizzee Rascal, Ne-Yo, Ayah Marar and Dillon Francis. As you can see from the collaborations, the album will be a who's who of Electronic Pop music at the minute, with Calvin's signature big room Electro-House sound bringing the project together. October 29th is the release date.
