Legendary House label Crosstown Rebels are set to celebrate their 10th birthday on April 26th at the extremely popular Leeds-based venue, Canal Mills. Crosstown Rebels Present: Rebellion Rave (Saturday 6th October)

After leaving their mark across Europe this festival season, Damian Lazarus & Crosstown Rebels get straight back to basics by kicking off a new series called Rebellion Rave on October 6th in London. For those who don't know, Rebellion is the underground sister label of Crosstown Rebels and prides itself on showcasing some of the most forward-thinking and unique House artists on the planet. The Rebellion rave is set to take partying back to the dark and dingy warehouse roots, which is where this genre of music shines brightest. All the info after the jump.

Maceo Plex - Frisky

'Frisky' has that unmistakable Maceo sound, which fuses together both Funk & Deep House, and will be dropping 9th April on Crosstown Rebels, with a sophmore album coming in Autumn. Amazing, simply amazing.

You & Me

Here is my favourite track from American-born producer Maceo Plex’s new album, Life Index, which was released yesterday on Crosstown Rebels. According to the man himself; “It’s all the soul music I’ve been holding inside and have been wanting to write”. Whatever it is, Maceo has found a winning formula, making House music that would get any dancefloor moving, any head nodding and any hands clapping. This is his first release on Damian Lazarus’s flawless label, which also plays host to artists such as Jamie Jones, Guti, Art Department and many more. Beautiful music.
