A very powerful song and video from UK duo Kojey Radical and Mahalia. Two artists that I've supported previously on the blog and very happy to see them both growing into their own sounds, in a pretty emphatic way. Love this.

A few months ago Josh Kumra & 13 year old Mahalia got together to write a song called 'What We Might Find' - recently they recorded a live studio session of them performing the song, and tonight it has gone live. Ever since Mahalia met Ed Sheeran and he tweeted about her last year, the young singer/songwriter hasn't looked back, and is currently working on her debut EP. Josh is brilliant as ever - this is beautiful.

A sick rendition, and hopefully it's just the start for this incredibly talented singer/songwriter - debut EP on the way.

Introduced to most of the world by Ed Sheeran on Twitter last night, here is 13-year old Mahalia's stunning acoustic cover of 'Mardy Bum' by Arctic Monkeys. Considering her tender age, the folk/soul singer has a connection with the music and a vocal tone way beyond her years. Look out for more from this girl in 2012.
