Random Impulse - Still They Sing

Spotted over @RWDMag, here are some cool visuals for Random Impulse's new single, which features cameos from Ed Sheeran, Professor Green & Wretch 32. As you can see from the live clips, the chorus on this one is incredibly easy to remember - the Wakestock crowd loved it. Got a lot of time for this guy and his music.

Daley - Be (Pinboard Acoustic Performance)

A stunning exclusive performance from upcoming Manchester-born Soul/R&B artist, Daley. This is the first in Pinboard's new 'introduces' series, which is aimed at concentrating on good music and an important undercurrent of that is discovering and exposing a new generation of music makers. One of my favourite blogs + one of my favourite new artists = great combo. Enjoy.

Ben Westbeech - FREE Album Launch Gig

Next Thursday (28th July), The Loft on Kingsland Road plays host to Ben Westbeech's launch party for the upcoming album, There's More To Life Than This. The gig is free, so if you're in and around London then there is no excuse for you not to pay a visit between 7pm-Midnight and listen to one of my favourite albums of the year so far. You can download the flyer for the event HERE and read my review of the album HERE. Gutted I can't make it down; however, you will be able to catch the event on the Boiler Room if you're in the same situation as me.

Ed Sheeran Competition x Tour Diary Part 3

Here is the third and final part of Ed's tour diary series that has given you an exclusive look at what goes on behind the scenes whilst he's on tour. I have to admit, I was with him at the Manchester Academy gig, and it was all a bit Bieber-ish afterwards. Also, if you would like to see him support Bruno Mars at the iTunes Festival next friday, simply answer the question below:

"What's the name of the person who inspired me to write The A Team?"

Send your answer plus your full name & mobile number to: competition@atlanticrecords.co.uk

Ed Sheeran - The A-Team (Live @ Glastonbury)

Here is is my buddy Ed Sheeran performing his hit debut single, The A-Team, live at Glastonbury earlier today. Sounds like it was a good little crowd that turned up for his set. Proud of him.

Jamie Woon - Shoulda (A64)

Jamie Woon with a stunning performance of Shoulda for SBTV, which is one of my favourite tracks from his debut album Mirrorwriting - still the best release of 2011. Guy is a genius.

Mr. John Legend treating us to a few performances whilst rehearsing for his Summer tour with Sade. I've seen him live 3 times, and can safely say that he is one of the best out there. Incredible performer.

The Roots & NaS Live @ The Roots Picnic

On the 4th June, The Roots took to the stage at the infamous Roots Picnic where they performed all of my favourite tracks from their latest album, How I Got Over, mixed with a selection of their classic hits. Then, half way through the set, they brought out Mr. Nasir Jones, who performed 8 tracks with the legendary band. This is a must hear for everyone, so here is the download link for the entire performance. NaS and Black Thought are the Kings.

Ed Sheeran - Small Bump (Live on Jo Whiley)

Earlier tonight Mr. Sheeran dropped in to speak to Jo Whiley and do a little session for the Radio 2 listeners, which included a performance of mine and his favourite track from his highly anticipated debut album, which will be released on September 19th. I have been lucky enough to hear about half of the album and can assure you that it is nothing short of spectacular. This song in particular pulls on my heart strings every single time I hear it. Stunning.
