Garage legend MJ Cole puts his own twist on the new single from Mancunian singer/songwriter Daley. Jessie J has never sounded so good. This is very cool, out November 19th.
16-year old Ryan Ashley, who has previously covered artists such as Coldplay, Snow Patrol & Ed Sheeran, puts his own twist on 'Mamma Knows Best', a track taken from Jessie J's debut album 'Who You Are'. This guys vocal tone is seriously impressive, and I'm excited to hear what material of his own he has to bring to the table.
Ed Sheeran, the man who's name is on everyones lips, today discovered that he has been nominated for 4 BRIT Awards, including British Male Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act, British Single & British Album of the year. Just behind him with three nominations each are Adele, last year's global chart queen, and Jessie J, the 2011 winner of the Critics' Choice Award. The annual honours will be handed out @ London's O2 Arena on February 21. Hit the jump to see the full list of nominations.
Ed Sheeran and Chris Leonard dropped into the Radio 2 studio yesterday for a quick chat with Dermot O' Leary - whilst they were there they performed his latest single 'Lego House' and this stunning cover of 'Who You Are' by Jessie J.
SBTV catches up with the talented 12 year old James Anderson, who takes on Nobody's Perfect by Jessie J, and absolutely smashes it. Needs a lot of work, but he has a naturally pure voice, really cool harmonies and is definitely one to watch, until he hits puberty at least anyway. Follow him on Twitter HERE.
Here are my two favourite tracks from Jessie J’s debut album, Who You Are. Granted they were both written years ago and there have been different versions floating around the internet for ages, but they have been re-produced/re-vocalled and made into simply stunning pieces of music. I’m also glad she has used the live version of Big White Room, because vocally it’s one of the best performances you will ever hear. Unfortunately some of the songs on the record sound very similar, but on the whole it’s a huge album, I will be listening to it a lot and will break a ridiculous amount of records when it’s released over here on Sunday. Her talent alone deserves all of the success that this is going to get.
Jessie J’s second American single, Casualty Of Love, which is a stripped back piano driven ballad and one of best things I’ve heard from her. Her voice is absolutely ridiculous. Can’t wait for the album.
Here is another offering from Jessie J’s upcoming debut album, Who You Are. This is a pretty enjoyable song, but I’ve still to hear anything that is on the same level as Big White Room.
Jessie J performing Big White Room at the London Scala tonight. Apparently this live version is going to be on the album. She is fucking incredible.
