Ed Sheeran - The City/Empire State Of Mind (Live @ Bowery Ballroom, NYC)

Ed Sheeran is in the USA for most of June promoting the release of his debut album '+', which is currently sitting at #1 on iTunes. During his New York gig at the Bowery Ballroom, he performed a special version of album track 'The City', where he interpolated lyrics from 'Empire State Of Mind'; a cover that he did from Radio 1 earlier in the year. Plan B - Playing With Fire (Prod. Labrinth) x Falling Down (Live Lounge)

With the film having hit cinema's around the country last week, Plan B tonight dropped into the Maida Vale studio to perform a special live lounge with his band, which included exclusive performances of new material from the 'iLL Manors' soundtrack. 'Playing With Fire' is produced by Labrinth, with the studio version featuring Etta Bond, and 'Falling Down' is an incredible Hip-Hop storytelling record that sees Ben Drew go back to his 'Who Needs Action When You Got Words' days. Cannot wait to see the film, because this soundtrack is already something really special.

Onra - After Hours (Feat. T3)

Featuring Slum Village member T3 on vocals, here is my favourite track from French Hip-Hop producer Onra's new EP 'Deep In The Night'. The EP has Onra's unmistakable glitchy Hip-Hop feel throughout, but has clear Electronic/Dance influences intertwined within the tracks. Absolutely love this guy - buy HERE.

Joey Bada$$ - Waves (Prod. Freddie Joachim) x Funky Ho'$ (Prod. Lord Finesse)

After blowing up the internet with the extravagantly raw 'Survival Tactics', 16 year old Brooklyn-based rapper Joey Bada$$ has today finally dropped his highly anticipated debut mixtape '1999'. Below are two of my favourite tracks, which are produced by Freddie Joachim & Lord Finesse, with other beats on the tape being provided by the likes of MF Doom, Chuck Strangers & J Dilla. One of the best Hip-Hop mixtapes for a very long time, from a youngster who has the talent to go very far - download HERE.

J Dilla - Dillatroit (Feat. Supa Emcee, Nick Speed, Guilty Simpson) (Official Video)

Official visuals for the latest single to be lifted from J Dilla's posthumous album 'Rebirth Of Detroit', which was released today and is available HERE. A pretty cool album on the whole and it has that raw Jay Dee feel throughout, but nothing will bring him back and nothing will compare to his work whilst he was here with us. R.I.P. James Yancey.

Disclosure - BBC Radio 1 Mini-Mix

Guy & Howard, better known as Disclosure, tonight came through with their new mini-mix for Annie Mac, which was packed full of Hip-Hop, Garage & House (and much more) classics, alongside some of their own material. Keep saying that if I was a producer, I would want to make music like these two are, and if I did a mini-mix, it would be guaranteed to sound like this. Disclosure can do no wrong in my eyes, and this is one of the best mini-mixes I've ever heard. Tune, after tune, after tune.
