After numerous leaks over the past few months, Wretch 32 has today dropped his highly anticipated new mixtape 'Wretchercise', which features, Chip, Kano, Sneakbo, Scorcher & many more. The mixtape is once again a showcase of Wretch's lyrical prowess on the mic and his ability to sound at home over any beat. Most rappers would be happy if their album was of this quality - download HERE and check out the Kyra featuring title after the jump.
'Ghetto Dreams' is my favourite track from 2 Chainz's highly anticipated debut album 'Based On A T.R.U. Story', which features Scarface & John Legend. Buy HERE.
A clearly irate Clement Marfo took to his Twitter account earlier today to make his feelings felt about his label (Warner Music), the delayed release of his album and everything that he and The Frontline have been through over the past few years to get to this point. After making his feelings known, the rapper then tweeted a link to a ZIP folder called 'World War III', which includes 5 (unreleased) tracks from the band's forthcoming debut album. Keep up to date on Clement's Twitter HERE, and download the ZIP HERE. Quite an interesting move, but one that wasn't overly surprising after the things that have been said on Twitter over the past few weeks. What do you think of the whole situation?
The legendary Idris Elba drops into the Dean Street Studios to help The Milk perform an extremely dope version of their track 'Picking Up The Pieces'. The recorded version of the track will feature on the group's forthcoming debut album 'Tales From The Thames Delta', which is set to be released on September 3rd.
'Where Would I Be' is one of my favourite tracks from Macca's new mix CD 'Monster Mac', which is being used as a lyrical exercise before he gives the world his debut album and second double single, 'I Do Me (Prod. Swifta Beater)/Spaceship Anthem Pt. 2 (Prod. Teddy Music)'. Been impressed by everything Stay Fresh has brought to the table over the past 12 months, but Mac in particular has fast become one of my favourite lyricists in the UK. His diversity and effortless ability to ride any beat is refreshing. Get your copy HERE.
Produced by SX and featuring the newly named Chip, here is the latest track to arrive from Wretch 32's forthcoming mixtape 'Wretchercise', which will be available as a free download on August 15th at midday. Wretch is far too good.
My two favourite tracks from Random Impulse's new EP 'Wildcard', which is the latest release on Brille Records. 'In A Hole' is a dope piece of guitar-driven Hip-Hop, which for me is lyrically Impulse's best track to date. The remix for 'I Don't Really Care' sees the London-based rapper call on a couple of friends, with a massive verse from Mikill Pane and production from Hip-Hop heavyweight Semothy Jones. Get your copy HERE.
Featuring High Focus duo Verb T & Fliptrix, here is the lead single from Mr. Boss' wonderful sophmore album 'The Landing Part II'. The album is a showcase of everything positive in UK Hip-Hop right now, with Boss' strong and crisp production backed up by the lyrical ability of some of the most talented lyricists in the game right now, including Stig Of The Dump, Dr. Syntax, Dirty Dike and many more. This track is available for free HERE, but this is a story, so go and pick up the LP in full HERE.
After bringing us the audio a few weeks ago, Mystro has now blessed us with the visuals for his new track 'Cockadoodledoo'. Mystro's highly anticipated debut LP 'Mystrogen' is set to drop on September 10th, with the lead single 'That Rush' arriving on August 20th. Pre-order HERE. The king.
