Pete Philly - Let It Go (Feat. Alain Clark) x Loves Euology

Two of my favourite tracks from Dutch-born Hip-Hop artist Pete Philly's debut solo album, ONE, which has just been released on Anti-Records. Over the past 6 years he has gained a huge amount of recognition as a part of Pete Philly & Perquisite, but this is a stunning body of work that I can't stop listening to. Smooth Hip-Hop with passion and a real meaning behind it - can't ask for much more than that. Pick up your copy HERE.

Has-Lo - Maxell UR

Taken from his forthcoming sophmore album, Conversation B, Has-Lo has released this track for free. Maxell UR, produced by Has-Lo himself, takes a journey from conceptions to procession. He narrates the story of how Hip-Hop weaves it's way into our being until we become Hip-Hop. Throughout the track Has' slick wordplay combines perfectly with the history of greats like Pete Rock, Big L & Big Pun, creating a beautifully thought-provoking piece of music. His debut album was amazing, and if this is anything to go by, then I expect the same from Conversation B. Out November 15th, pre-order HERE and download this track HERE.

Lowkey - We Will Rise (Feat. Sanasino)

Produced by Big G, here is my favourite track from Lowkey's sophmore album, Soundtrack To The Struggle, which was released today on Mesopotamia Music. The album is a very politically driven and intense listen, but Lowkey's witty wordplay and incredible ability to build thought-provoking stories makes for a cohesive and enjoyable release. You can get the album HERE and see the official video for the latest single, Hand On Your Gun, HERE.
