Mystro (Trevor McDiggi) - UK Rap Up 2011 (Video)

Directed by Paradox1080p, here are the brilliant visuals for Mystro's third UK Rap Up, which for me is his best to date. Black Einstein smashed it with the beat and the level of lyricism shown from Mysdiggi is absolutely mind blowing - this is just another reason why he is my favourite UK MC, by quite some way. Click play, enjoy and download HERE. Mystrogen on the way!

Scroobius Pip - Soldier Boy (Kill Em) (Feat. B. Dolan) (Video)

Scroobius Pip and B Dolan had a day to spare at the end of their recent UK tour, so they grabbed a camera, stole a jeep and made a video for the latest single and my favourite track from Scroob's 2011 sophmore album, Distraction Pieces. Mr. Pip also announced that B Dolan will be joining him on his forthcoming Euro tour - all details HERE. This single will be available on January 29th with remixes from Rout (Enter Shikari), John The Baptist and WBYT!

Lupe Fiasco & Pharrell working on joint album

Lupe Fiasco last night took to his website to let us know that his forthcoming album 'Food & Liquor II' is on the way, and reveal that he and Pharrell will be working on a joint album at some point in the near future. For those who remember CRS (Child Rebel Soldier), we shouldn't get too excited until we hear some material, but this is still very exciting news for any music lover.

"FOOD AND LIQUOR 2 COMING SOON....LUPE AND PHARRELL ALBUM COMING SOON..."

Jay-Z - Glory (Feat. Blue Ivy Carter & Pharrell) (Prod. Pharrell)

Produced by long-term friend/collaborator Pharrell, here is a new track from Jay-Z paying tribute to the little girl he and Beyoncé welcomed into the world on Saturday night in NYC. The song even features a few vocals from Blue Ivy Carter herself. Genius, moving.

Common - Stay Schemin' (Drake Diss)

Things have just heated up between Common & Drake, with the Chicago-born legend adding a diss verse to the Drake-featuring track from Rick Ross' latest mixtape. There's only gonna be one winner here; "Make no mistakes, I'm talkin bout Drake..."

ManOnWire - In Search Of... Brown Sugar... (D'Angelo Tribute)

With D'Angelo's eagerly awaited return not too far away, ManOnWire flips the R&B crooner's iconic single 'Brown Sugar' on its head. The first half is nice and has the head-nodding qualities of your typical ManOnWire production, but half way through sees an Electronic switch-up that will blow your head off your shoulders. This is from another planet.

Slum Village - Fall In Love (Vondeuhlux Remix)

Dilla month is just around the corner, so as you would expect, the remixes/tributes have already started to flood in. Dutch-based producer Vondeuhlux kicks off proceedings with this funky rework of a Slum Village classic. My man.

Perry Mystique - Buildin' Bridges (Video)

Better known for his work as a producer, Dutch-born Perry Mystique today released these visuals for the title track from his forthcoming FreEP, Buildin' Bridges. He is already regarded as one of Europe’s finest Hip-Hop producers and 2011 saw him sign a deal as an artist via his production label Space Trak with Mercury/Universal Records in the UK. His delivery could use some work, but the beat is huge, and he's definitely got something about him.

Rick Ross - Triple Beam Dreams (Feat. NaS) x Stay Schemin' (Feat. Drake & French Montana)

Here are two of my favourite tracks from Rick Ross' highly anticipated mixtape, Rich Forever, which the Florida-born rapper let loose on the internet just minutes ago. Never been the biggest fan of Ross' work, but his work ethic is second to none and the quality of this mixtape is clear for all to see (hear). Most rappers would be ecstatic if their albums were on this level. Download HERE, tracklist and the 'Stay Schemin' video are after the jump.

Dot Rotten - Are You Not Entertained (Video)

Following its premiere on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show, Dot Rotten today released some hard visuals for his powerful new single and the follow up to his buzz single 'Keep It On The Low'. Easily one of the most talented MCs around right now, and this is a step in the right direction.
