Melé & Kano - Beamer

Freshly premiered last night on Zane Lowe's show, here is the highly anticipated collaboration from 20 year-old Liverpool-born producer Melé and UK Hip-Hop legend Kano. I love how Melé doesn't pin himself to one genre and I love how KA can basically spit over any beat you give him. This is massive, and I'm very pleased to hear Kano has been in the studio with Boys Noize again. Futuristic stuff.

As they explain, the video is "a series of scenes of people going over their obsessive-compulsive type behaviours... as to how that refers to our music, on our new album we've been inspired by ideas of repeated loops and patterns breaking down and decaying over time. Alvin Risk - Infinity

Alvin Risk is currently readying the release of his new EP 'Infinity', and today uploaded the title track, which is nothing short of spectacular. The track is only 3.50 mins long, but takes you on a musical journey that delves into about 12 different genres and seems to last forever, in a good way. There's a lot of talk about summer anthems circulating right now. And while there have been multiple legimiate claims to that title so far this year, this new one from Rymez is set to shake up that potential playlist even further. Ably assisted by grime king Wiley and Ms. D on vocal duties, it's a track that's feel-good mood is superceded only by the tight production and an irresistably cool flow from Wiley. Can't really fault this in any way, you can feel the sunshine glowing in this track. Perfect.
