Behind The Eaters: A Documentary on Super Fans

In a bid to document an elusive underground movement of mega fans, directing duo 'that Jam' have released a short 8 minute film investigating the motivations of DJ and producer Eats Everything's most dedicated super fans - the Eaters. Sounds great, doesnt it? Sadly 'Behind the Eaters' isn't completely true and in classic mockumentary style, it seems as though 'the Eaters' are in fact all actors, albeit fairly convincing ones. Still given the increasingly popularity of what is a supposedly underground music and clubbing sub-culture, much of what makes this funny is that it could almost be true. Real or not, hats off to Eats Everything's marketing team, this is genius and actually very funny too.

Gone Too Soon: Ol' Dirty Bastard (Radio 1Xtra - October 14th)

Set to be aired October 14th on 1Xtra @ 9pm is a new documentary produced by Folded Wing Productions called 'Gone Too Soon: Ol' Dirty Bastard', which will see Charlie Sloth delve into the life, times and rhymes of the controversial Wu-Tang Clan member. The documentary will include interviews with ODB's friends, family, collaborators and more, which will allow us to unearth some of the secrets behind one of the most love personalities in Hip-Hop. This is the second episode in a new series of 'Gone Too Soon', which will also give us an insight into Guru, Gil Scott-Heron & Amy Winehouse's wonderful lives.

Premiered last night on VH1, here is a look back at the life of iconic rapper The Notorious B.I.G. The one-hour episode is updated from the original 2001 airing, and documents Big's rise from the streets of Brooklyn to the top of Hip-Hop, before his life was taken from him at the tender age of just 24 in 1997. Commentary comes from Diddy, his mother, Faith Evans and many more - a must watch for any Hip-Hop fan, with some eye-opening evidence/revelations related to Big's death and the case that followed.
