'Horeshoe' is my favourite track from Scottish-born producer Hostage's new EP 'Traffic', which is set to be released September 10th on Black Butter Records. He has such a unique style and is always two steps ahead of the rest, with this release adding to his already impressive back catalogue. This track is an absolute JAM!!

Given its world premiere on Radio 1 yesterday, here is the latest single to be lifted from Calvin Harris' forthcoming third studio album '18 Months', which is set for release later this year. The single features Florence Welch, and as she explained, the song "was a straight up swap between two artists - I wanted a remix, he wanted a vocal… so we traded". Calvin's remix of 'Spectrum' has already taken the charts by storm this Summer, and I would be amazed if this doesn't do the same.

Continuing with the aquatic themed titles, Sub Focus drops off his new single 'Tidal Wave', which is the follow up to the incredible 'Out The Blue'. No word on a release date yet, but can't see it being far off - looking forward to hearing the remixes for this one.

'Sunset' is my favourite track from 'Coexist', which is the highly anticipated sophmore album by The xx and is set to be released September 10th on Young Turks. The album is once again produced entirely by Jamie Smith, and the progression in his (and the band's) style is evident from the outset, with an even more mature and thought-provoking sound than we heard on their critically acclaimed self-titled debut.
