Ed Sheeran scores highest ever charting debut album by a UK male artist in the official US Chart

After rocketing straight to No.1 on the iTunes chart when his album dropped last weekend in America, it has now been announced that '+' has gone in at #5 on the official chart, which is the highest ever debut entry in US Chart for a UK male solo artist. Ed Sheeran announces North American headline tour

With his debut album '+' set to hit the shelves on June 12th, Ed Sheeran has today announced his first full headline tour of North America, which is set to kick off in Toronto on September 17th. Pre-sale tickets will be available to members of Sheeran's online community tomorrow morning (June 5th), with fans also having the option to get early tickets through a pre-order offer of his album. All remaining tickets will then go on sale later in June. Check out the 14 dates after the jump.
