As part of Bob Marley week on Radio 1, Yasmin and Wretch 32 dropped in to the Live Lounge to perform two uniquely spectacular covers with a little help from the brilliant Vula Malinga and Sharlene Hector. You can listen to both covers below and download the MP3s HERE. R.I.P. Bob.
Yasmin and her tour DJ, Cable, cooked up one of the hottest MiniMix’s I’ve ever heard for Annie Mac the other night - the track selection is spot on and the mixing is absolutely ridiculous. You can listen/download below, and you can also hear Cable’s new mix for Snowbombing HERE.
Here is Mike Delinquent’s remix of Yasmin’s 2nd single, Finish Line, which will be available to buy on May 8th. Garage is well and truly alive - I’ve listened to this about 15 times today. One of the best remixes I’ve heard for a very long time. Mike is a top guy with a ridiculous of talent and there is a lot more to come from him in 2011 - follow him on Twitter.
Jamie XX & Yasmin, who have both been in the studio together recently, hit The Boiler Room on Valentine’s Day for a special B2B set, which saw the pair conjure up an hour long romantic mix of House/Garage classics. Hit the jump to see the tracklist.

My lovely mate Yasmin was 22 yesterday and out of the goodness of her heart she has put together a smooth R&B Christmas mix that everyone can enjoy over the festive season. Below you can hear/download the mix and after the jump you will find the tracklist and a few words from the lady herself. She has assured me that she will never neglect the DJing, which makes me happy, because she is still one of the best around and our musical taste is scarily similar. Merry Christmas.
Today’s my birthday, it’s also 4 days before Christmas, but where’s the fun unless we’re all getting presents?! So here’s my gift for you, a Christmas Mix full of 90’s R&B, don’t go making too many babies over the festive season now… ;) I included 22 tracks, one for every year of my life so far! So Happy Birthday to me and Merry Christmas to you!! Go forth & download!! Love, Yasmin x

You all know who Yasmin is now, right? Well she popped into Maida Vale the other day and recorded a four track session for Mistajam and the 1Xtra team. She performed the debut single, On My Own. Her own version of Runaway, which (for me) is better than both Alicia’s ‘Empire State Of Mind’ and Rihanna’s ‘Love The Way Lie’. A mash up of Willow Smith’s ‘Whip Your Hair’ and Aaliyah’s ‘Back & Forth’ and an exclusive performance of ‘Finish Line’, which is produced by the ever brilliant Labrinth. I was fortunate enough to hear the Labrinth track last month and was blown away by it then. Seems like everything is coming together now and it’s been a pleasure being able to see her grow over the past year. Below you can hear Runaway & Finish Line, and also download all four performances. Onwards & upwards.
