Elro - Scrabble (Feat. JME & Manga) (Prod. Preditah) x Pointless (Prod. Toddla T)

Following on from his well received debut single 'Bad News', which features The D.O.T. (Mike Skinner & Rob Harvery) on the newly resurrected Beats label, Welsh rapper Elro drops off a sick 7-track mixtape called 'Porcelain Corse'. Most of the production is handled by Markus Jakes, but it's the Preditah & Toddla T tracks that stand out for me - 'Scrabble' is the type of witty Grime track you would expect with the Brummy beat-maker behind the boards and JME & Manga providing verses. 'Pointless' is a refreshing sound though, with Toddla providing a Gorillaz-type beat to allow Elro to showcase his lyrical prowess on the mic and his incredibly unique flow. Toddla T - Badman Flu x Fly

Take It Back and Watch Me Dance have been two of the most enjoyable and uplifting singles of 2011 thus far, and today the album that they both feature on has been released on Ninja Tune. Below you can hear two of my favourite tracks from Toddla's sophmore album, which shows that even though he has gone for a more House/Electronic feel on the singles, he hasn't lost that unique Dancehall sound/vibe which made people fall in love with him and Skanky Skanky back in 2009. Here is the title track from Toddla T's upcoming album, Watch Me Dance, which features the legendary UK rapper Roots Manuva. T has gone for a much funkier sound on this LP, and I like it, I like it a lot. Another version will be on Manuva's album, but I can't really see it topping this. ENJOY & DANCE!
