The Bacardi Beginnings campaign has seen some of the UK’s most exciting established and up-and-coming music artists come together to push the boundaries of music releases. For the third and final creative project in the music mentoring programme, Bloc Party's Kele Okereke and his chosen emerging artist Bobbie Gordon will release their brand-new, original track 'Down Boy', through the creation and opening of the world’s first 3D printing record store. Introduction video for the second istallment of this year's Bacardi Beginnings, which sees Toddla T & Roses Gabor come together for another special project. On September 4th @ 7pm only the first beat of their track will be released online – the more tweets and Facebook likes the track receives, then the more the track will will be released. Once fully unlocked, a remix competition will begin, with a chance to win a production masterclass with Toddla T. Sick.

June 20th saw Bacardi Beginnings kick off in style, announcing Bipolar Sunshine & Rudimental as their first pairing of 2013. For those who don't know, the project will be bringing together three established acts and three hot emerging acts to push the boundaries of music releases as we know them. Each pairing will be given a unique brief around the creation, production and experience of music, while also releasing original tracks together. Thursday 11th July will see Rudimental & Bipolar Sunshine come together to write, record, release, rehearse and perform an original track, all within 24 hours. Starting at a studio in London at 7am, the process will culminate in their performance of their Bacardi Beginnings track at a gig at The Vaults in Waterloo, London at 7pm.
