Terrence Parker - Love's Got Me High (Marc Romboy's Systematic Soul Mix)

Released yesterday on Systematic Recordings, here is label owner Marc Romboy's stunning remix of Terrence Parker's 1995 Deep House classic, Love's Got Me High. It can sometimes be hard to do a classic like this justice, but Romboy is such a thoughtful producer and has delivered a piece of 118bpm genius that will be sure to get all the dancefloors in 2011 grooving the night away. Lalah Hathaway - My Everything

Here is my favourite track from Lalah Hathaway's sixth studio album, Where It All Begins, which was released yesterday on Stax Records. Being the daughter of the legendary Donny Hathaway meant that she had a head start on most when it came to natural talent and quality guidance/advice, but Lalah's refreshing vocal tone and incredibly hard working ethic has allowed her to become one of the most well respected female R&B vocalists over the past 20 years. An amazing track, from an amazing album, from an amazing lady. Pick up your copy HERE.

Drop Logik - Pass The

Here is my favourite track from Drop Logik's new album, Couch Constellations, which is set to be released December 10th on the ever brilliant Cold Busted. Not sure what it's classed as; Funky Electronic Trip-Hop, maybe? Whatever you want to call it, it's amazing, and if you like this then you will love the album.

Anthony Hamilton - WOO

Produced by Babyface, here is the stunning lead single from Anthony Hamilton's currently untitled new album, which is set for a December 13th release. One of the most talented, consistent and under-rated Soul/R&B artists of the past 10 years. Can't wait for this one.

Mayer Hawthorne - Can't Stop (Feat. Snoop Dogg)

Here is one of my favourite tracks from Mayer Hawthorne's sophmore album, How Do You Do, which was released this week on Universal. Basically, it's a modern day interpratation of a mixture of Northern Soul and Motown - not quite as strong as his debut release, but still a very cool album from a very cool man. Also, you've never heard Snoop sing like this before.

Sidenote: the two singles are the two strongest tracks..

George Benson - Lady In My Life (Michael Jackson Tribute)

Grammy-winning legend George Benson is back, and this time brings his guitar to the forefront of his new album, Guitar Man. The 12-song collection sees him return to his roots, when he was one of the World's most well respected Jazz guitarists, but as with this Michael Jackson tribute, it's clear that the thoughts of his pop fans are never far from his mind. Who needs to sing when you can make a guitar speak like this?! Nothing but love for this man.

Emeli Sandé - Daddy

Another track that was premiered on Mistajam tonight is Emeli Sandé's new single, Daddy, which is the follow up to Heaven and the second single from her forthcoming debut album, Our Version Of Events. This is amazing, as is she - not much else needs to be said, just listen.

Josh Kumra - Quickie (Miguel Cover)

After joining Wretch 32 on Jools Holland the other night (full show tonight on BBC2), Josh Kumra has unleashed this brilliant acoustic cover of the latest single and one of my favourite tracks from Miguel's debut album, All I Want Is You. Made me even more excited to hear a debut EP/album from Josh; he's got a ridiculous amount of talent, his voice is a breath of fresh air and just keeps getting better every time I see him.

Omar - The Man

OH YES! Having premiered this track back in June at the Jazz Cafe in London, Omar has released the official visuals for the lead single from his long overdue seventh studio album. The video is cool, but when you discover that the vocals were recorded live whilst walking through the beautiful streets of Copenhagen, with (director) Kristian Mathiassen adding in the beat afterwards, it becomes a whole lot more special. All of those sounds from the street that you can hear are 100% real, which means having to deal with them and nailing the vocals in one take - I think we can all agree that both he and Kristian absolutely smashed it. One of my favourite R&B/Soul vocalists of all-time is back, with a bang. Bring on the album...

Bugz In The Attic Present: Homecookin - Keepin It Up x Bring Some

Bugz in the Attic is a collective of DJs/Producers based in West London, who are prominent in the broken beat scene - the collective includes Orin Walters (Afronaught), Paul Dolby (Seiji), Kaidi Tatham, Daz-I-Kue, Alex Phountzi (Neon Phusion), Cliff Scott, Mark Force, Matt Lord, and Mikey Stirton. The group has a label, BitaSweet Records and also runs its own Co-Op club night at Plastic People in Shoreditch. As well as that, they have released numerous singles, remixes, compilations and their debut album, Back in the Doghouse, which dropped in July 2006. However, their new album, Do What You Wanna, is on a whole other level and is something you should definitely think about picking up if you're into Soulful House, Funk or Break-Beat.
