The Temptations file suit against UMG over iTunes royalties

Joining many other acts in having the same issue with their label, legendary Motown group The Temptations have this week filed a suit against UMG (Universal Music Group) for millions of dollars in unpaid royalties, claiming they have not been given the correct amount of revenue from ringtone and digital download sales.

Mayer Hawthorne - Can't Stop (Feat. Snoop Dogg)

Here is one of my favourite tracks from Mayer Hawthorne's sophmore album, How Do You Do, which was released this week on Universal. Basically, it's a modern day interpratation of a mixture of Northern Soul and Motown - not quite as strong as his debut release, but still a very cool album from a very cool man. Also, you've never heard Snoop sing like this before.

Ben Westbeech - Summer Mix

Mr Westbeech has been a busy man as of late; finishing his album, doing covers and now recording a Summer mix for our listening pleasure. The mix is full of delicious tracks, from old skool Hip-Hop, to Deep House, to classic Soul/Motown - all my favourite music in one mix really.
