Skrillex in Miami
Filmed & edited by Liam Underwood, here is a behind the scenes look at Skrillex's time at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami two weeks ago. Absolutely killing it.

Alvin Risk's remix of OWSLA head honcho Skrillex's 'Ruffneck Bass' premiered last month at the Ultra Music Festival, but now we have a high quality rip for you to feast your ears on. The remix takes the energy of the track up another level and has live cut-ins from Netsky’s remix of 'Everyday' by Rusko - be on the look out for the studio version soon.
Brought you a live video of Skrillex dropping this last month, but last night saw the massive new single from the Grammy-award winning producer/DJ get its world premiere play on Goat & Fire. The single features Reggae superstar Damian Marley, and once again shows Skrillex's diversity and ability to think way outside the box.
After dropping off a visual teaser last week, Zedd last night uploaded an extended audio preview of his latest single 'Shotgun', which is forthcoming on OWSLA. Exciting times ahead for this young German superstar.
In the saga of unreleased Skrillex songs, the internet is a hotbed of imposters, dodgy leaks and live rips. Most of that's probably a result of the producer having his laptop stolen sometime last year, which set the release date of his album back drastically (which may have actually worked in his favour, but that's beside the point). "Voltage" is reportedly set to be the title track from his forthcoming album, and until now we've only had a remake by a guy called Rami Ross to go by. However, now a set rip has surfaced on the web, and while nothing has been confirmed, it seems pretty legit. It's mashed up with the vocals from his "Cinema" remix, but the rest seems new, and the drop seems to be much like what we've come to expect of this massively talented guy. Saw this described as possibly "the only love song Skrillex will ever make". What do you guys think?
Skrillex took to twitter today to announce the release of Kil The Noise & Datsik's new collaboration 'Lightspeed'. The track, the first collaboration to come from these two artists, is a heavy piece of Electro House with a tantalising build up and exciting drop that I can see setting off ravers all over the country.
Given its world premiere on Zane Lowe's show the other night, here is a brand new piece from Alvin Risk, which features Sirah and is set to be released on his forthcoming (still untitled) EP. Been impressed with everything this guy has dropped since his remix of Example's number one 'Stay Awake', and can't wait to see him perform on the Example arena tour in April. Big things ahead this year.
Fresh off winning 3 Grammys and with a sold out UK tour underway, Skrillex lets loose the official visuals for the title from his latest 'Bangarang EP'. There is a running theme with Skrillex's videos, don't underestimate the kids.
Following the controversy surrounding Skrillex's five Grammy nominations over the past few weeks, the superstar Dubstep producer/DJ has gone on to win 3 Grammy awards at tonight's ceremony, with 'Best New Artist' yet to be announced. Sonny Moore, 23, shot into the spotlight at the back end of 2010, with his heavy robotic sound capturing the hearts of many youngsters, and taking the much loved underground UK genre into the American mainstream. Adele pipped him to the 'Best Short Form Music Video', but he has still picked up 'Best Remixed Recording', 'Best Electronic/Dance Album' and 'Best Dance Recording'. As much as you may hate his music, he is without doubt one of the hardest working men in music right now, and this is a huge moment for Dubstep and the Electronic music scene as a whole. Kanye West has also won 3 awards in the pre-Grammy telecast for 'Best Rap Song', 'Best Rap Album', and 'Best Rap/Sung Collabo'. Stay tuned for the full list of award winners.
The guys over at Beast TV have put together this sick little documentary to look into whether a DJ is worth 5 Grammy nominations. Well Sonny Moore, better known as Skrillex, is one of the hardest working men in music right now, and I (along with many others) believe that he fully deserves the level of recognition that he has received over the past 12 months. The awards he is up for are: Best New Artist, Best Dance Recording, Best Dance/Electronica Album, Best Remixed Recording (Non-Classical) & Best Short Form Music Form. Wishing him all the luck in the world, winning just one of these would be massive. Check out all the categories and nominees HERE.
