Set to be released August 28th on OWSLA, here are my two favourite remixes from the remix EP for Skrillex & Damian Marley's huge collaborative single 'Make It Bun Dem'. Brodisnki takes the track down a Tech-House route, but it's Alvin Risk who stands out from the rest, with an outrageous Moombah-influenced bass heavy version that takes you on a 4 minute musical journey.
Detroit-based Dubstep producer GRiZ today unleashed another free remix - this time of Damian Marley's iconic Reggae track 'Welcome To Jamrock', which was released back in 2005. Love the original more than words to describe, and this is a smashing alternative to stick on whilst relaxing with your pals at the next BBQ.
It's common knowledge that Rusko & Cypress Hill have been in the studio working on an EP, but nobody expected them to drop the lead single out of the blue like this, especially with a feature the size of Damian Marley on it. The EP is out next month, but for now you can stream the single below, and Americans can buy HERE.
Last month we brought you a preview of a new track from Skrillex & Damian Marley, which was called 'Rudeboy Bass' and premiered at Ultra Music Festival. Damian Marley last night uploaded the final version, which is called 'MAKE IT BUN DEM' and it rumoured to be on Skrillex's debut album 'Voltage'. BIIIIG!
Brought you a live video of Skrillex dropping this last month, but last night saw the massive new single from the Grammy-award winning producer/DJ get its world premiere play on Goat & Fire. The single features Reggae superstar Damian Marley, and once again shows Skrillex's diversity and ability to think way outside the box.
After its premiere on Robbo Ranx's show last week, Damian Marley has now let loose the visuals for his stunning new single 'Affairs Of The Heart'. Nothing but love.
Following the smashing lead single 'Set Up Shop', Robbo Ranx last night let loose another track from Damian Marley's forthcoming fourth studio album, which will be his first solo project since 'Welcome To Jamrock' in 2005.
Playing his latest show at Surrender in Las Vegas, Skrillex drops a world exclusive of a Dub Reggae track that he has done with Damian Marley. This sounds absolutely incredible.
Junior Gong took to his SoundCloud last night to post the lead single from his fourth solo album, which is currently untitled. A very dope Dancehall track from my favourite Marley son - he never disappoints.
