BoxFresh Presents: Rinse FM @ Notting Hill Carnival

This weekend will see over 2 million people descend on the streets of West London for Notting Hill Carnival, Europe's largest street party. With nearly every genre of music imaginable on offer Carnival is something of a mecca for music fans, however, one addition to this year's proceedings that has The House of Coxhead particularly excited is the addition of the Rinse FM stage. Rinse, who will also be celebrating their 20th anniversary at the event, have teamed up with Boxfresh Presents to bring a host of big names to the capital's biggest party with a line-up including: Bicep, Chase & Status, Skream & Route 94. Duke Dumont - My Love / Hideaway

Duke Dumont joined Fearne Cotton in the Radio 1 Live Lounge yesterday to perform new single 'I Got U' & a very special mystery cover. Fusing together Route 94′s 'My Love' with Kiesza’s 'Hideaway' Duke was joined by vocalists Kellie Leigh and Moni Tivony, as they performed over a beat lifted from the producer's 2013 remix of HAIM’s 'Falling', in one of the best Live Lounge performances I've heard in a long while. Further proof that being a dance act doesn't mean your live performances have to be confined to DJ sets.

As Route 94's following continues to grow and with 'My Love' looking all but certain to reach Number 1 on Sunday night, Defected have decided to re-release some of the increasingly popular producer's older material. The Fly 4 Life EP features just 4 tracks, but as a collective demonstrates Route 94's immense capacity for diversity as a producer with elements ranging from House to Techno to R&B to something a little bit deeper presents across the 4 tracks.
