Slakah The Beatchild - Cure (Feat. The Promise)
A new joint from the multi-talented Canadian rapper/producer/singer, Slakah The Beatchild. For me, he is one of the most under-rated artists out there - this is as smooth as ever. Oh baby.

Some proper baby making music off of Jagged Edge's new album, The Remedy. Not really my kind of R&B, but the album is an enjoyable enough listen. Out on June 21st.
Originally intended for The Lady Killer, here is a Neptunes produced joint that featured on the It's OK EP back in December. Not sure why it missed the cut (and I'm not sure how everyone missed it), but I'm very glad we got hold of it. I love this man.
After the two stunning singles that we've heard so far this year, Shame & So In Love, here are two of my favourite album tracks from Jill Scott's upcoming fourth studio release, The Light Of The Sun. The album is set to be released on June 21st and is her first LP since leaving Hidden Beach Recordings - I'm glad to say that the move hasn't affected the music. There aren't many female artists that excite me, Erykah & Beyoncé being the two main exceptions, but Miss Scott has been consistently brilliant, blessing us with real Soul music from the heart for the past 11 years. Some people think that 4 years is too long to make an album, I don't. If the music is this good, then she can take as long as she wants to make it (D'Angelo's break has been a bit too long now though) - it's much better than releasing 3 albums in 4 years and none reaching the standard of her previous work. Make sure you cop this on the 21st, it won't disappoint.
The first single off The Weeknd's forthcoming new project, Thursday. Not the best piece we've heard from him, but it's as smooth and sexy as ever.
My favourite track from Ledisi's latest album, Pieces Of Me, which will be available to buy next week. She is one of the only female R&B singers that excites me, and I'm pleased to say that this album didn't disappoint - laid back beats, heart-felt lyrics and beautiful vocals.
Spotted over at my main man's blog (PinBoard), here is the new single from Rahsaan Patterson, which is written by and features backing vocals from the ever brilliant Lalah Hathaway. This guy is one of my favourite male R&B artist's - After Hours is a classic that everyone should have in their collection. A funky bassline, and a soothing vocal = winning.
Some new Foreign Exchange is always nice - some new free Foreign Exchange is even nicer. All The Kisses sees them team up with Amber & Paris Strother of KING, to provide an ever beautiful piece of Soul music that will feature on their upcoming live CD/DVD 'Dear Friends: An Evening With The Foreign Exchange'. Available on June 28th, but this is up for FREE download.
A new single from the R&B crooners Jagged Edge, which is taken from their upcoming album The Remedy, which will be available on June 21st. Pretty difficult to dislike anything that these guys release.
Another new piece from Drake's upcoming sophmore album, Take Care, which is set to be released later this Summer. As with Dreams Money Can Buy, I prefer this to most of the stuff off Thank Me Later. I actually like Drake, but hate the label he is signed to.
