Another track premiered on Annie Mac's return to R1 last night was the debut offering from West London producer Luxury. Co-produced with the help of Disclosure's Guy Howard, it seems Luxury has friends in high places and if this track is anything to go by we can expect to hear a lot more from the young producer in the near future.

Premiered last weekend on BBC Radio 1, here is the first ever Essential Mix from brothers Disclosure, who have taken the music world by storm over the past 24 months. Considering how similar our taste in music, I knew this was going to be pretty special, and I wasn't wrong. What a tracklist.

Another track brought to my attention courtsey of Mr Tong's Radio 1 show last night and already receiving plaudits from Skream as well as many others is 'Giving It All', the latest single to surface from Future House duo Bondax. Can't get enough of these two at the moment, hard to believe they're only 19.

Afrojack dropped by Annie Mac's Friday night show on Radio 1 this week to deliver her an exclusive first play of his latest track; currently titled 'Annie's Theme'. As part of the first day of the newly formed BBC Radio 1/1Xtra Hackney Academy, Professor Green drops in to perform a special live lounge, which includes his latest single 'Remedy' and a wonderful cover of 'Hometown Glory' by Adele. Radio 1 have today confirmed that Example, Ben Howard and the Lost Prophets have been added to this year's Big Weekend on Hackney Marshes. Also added to the bill are B.o.B, Madeon, Santigold, Gyptian, Sway, Delilah, Lethal Bizzle and Enter Shikari. Jay-Z will be headlining the event, which takes place on 23rd & 24th June, with Ed Sheeran and Jessie J also appearing. Feel gutted for anyone who hasn't been booked for this.
