Omar from 'The Wire' to play ODB in a movie

Michael K. Williams, best known for his work as Omar on 'The Wire' and Chalky White on 'Boardwalk Empire' is set to play the late Ol' Dirty Bastard in an upcoming film 'Dirty White Boy'. Entertainment Weekly reports that the Joaquín Baca-Asay-directed film will focus on the relationship between Ol’ Dirty Bastard and his manager, Jarred Weisfeld, during the last years of ODB’s life - it’s said that both Weisfeld and ODB’s mother, Cherry Jones, approve of the project.
