On the day of the release of his debut album 'Lonely Are The Brave', Maverick Sabre performs a touching tribute to say Happy Birthday to Reggae legend Bob Marley. Bob is one of Mav's main inspirations, and this is one of his all-time classics. Pick up LATB HERE!
Here are two of my favourite tracks from Maverick Sabre's highly anticipated debut album, Lonely Are The Brave, which was released today on Mercury. The London-born/Irish-raised Soul singer has had two Top 20 singles with 'Let Me Go' & 'I Need', but the album as a whole is simply a breath of fresh air with the combination of Mav's incredibly unique husky vocal tone and laid-back production creating a unique style of Soul/Hip-Hop. The album is just £6.99 on iTunes, and you can pick up your copy HERE. Massive fan, and have a feeling he will only get better.
Premiered earlier on UKF, here is a snippet of the TC remix for Maverick Sabre's new single and the third to be taken from his forthcoming debut album, Lonley Are The Brave. Mav sounds so sick over Drum & Bass. More remixes from Stinkahbell, Roska, New Machines and Wideboys on the way, pre-order the album HERE.
Here is the official video for the third single to be taken from Maverick Sabre's highly anticipated forthcoming debut album, Lonely Are The Brave. Both this and the album will be released on February 6th - can't wait.
After following Maverick Sabre closely for the past two years, it's safe to say I'm been rather excited to hear his debut album, which is set to be released on February 6th 2012. Well, now we are one step closer to the release of that album with this sampler that Maverick uploaded to his YouTube channel earlier today. From what I've heard, it reminds me of Plan B's sophmore album (The Defamation of Strickland Banks) but with a lot more soul and heart, which can only be a good thing. Actually can't wait for this.
During his set at 1Xtra Live in Birmingham last night, Irish-born singer/songwriter Maverick Sabre blessed us with a flawless cover of Sam Cooke's 'A Change Gonna Come' and an exclusive performance of 'Cold Game', which is taken from his forthcoming debut album 'Lonely Are The Brave'. One of the most talented men in music right now - tickets for his upcoming tour available HERE.
One of the most exciting talents to emerge from 2011, Maverick Sabre, has today announced that he will be embarking on his debut UK tour in March 2012. Mav will be reaching 7 different venues up and down the British Isles, with support coming from the one and only Ms. Dynamite. Tickets go on sale November 25th and you can see all the dates after the jump. Don't miss this.
The Brookes Brothers come through with an incredibly sick remix of Maverick Sabre's second single from his forthcoming debut album, Lonely Are The Brave, which is set to be released at the beginning of 2012. This remix will be available on the official EP, which drops November 6th on Mercury. So much love for Mr. Sabre.
Some simple, but cool and effective visuals for Maverick Sabre's second single from his upcoming debut album, Lonely Are The Brave, which is set to be released in January 2012. I love everything about this guy, and this is no exception - can't wait for the album.
Here is the follow up to Maverick Sabre's highly praised debut single 'Let Me Go', which has been given a lot of love and air time from Radio 1 over the past few months. Premiered tonight on Mistajam's show, this incredibly relevant and laid back soulful piece has got me even more excited for the debut album that is set to be released towards the end of the year. One of the most refreshing talents this country has to offer right now - still gutted about not being able to see him at Global, but this kind of makes up for it. Real soul music.
P.S. I thought I had heard this before - there is a version on Mav's 'The Travelling Man Mixtape', but this finished version is about 100x better.
