The legendary Hip-Hop duo brought us a live performance of their new Aretha Franklin-inspired single 'You Already Knew' and a web exclusive of the J Dilla produced 'Little Brother' - 'Black Star Aretha' on the way. During the acoustic performance she did a mash-up of Ed Sheeran's 'Lego House' and 'Old Yellow Bricks' by the Arctic Monkeys - I think it's safe to say she smashed it. Onwards and upwards for one of the most exciting talents to emerge from 2011.

December 15th will see XFM bring there special brand to London's Brixton academy with an indie focussed line-up of The Horrors, Kaiser Chiefs, The Maccabees, Band Of Skulls and We Are Augustines. Not my cup of tea.
