Following the success of Friday which saw Eriz Prydz headline the opening night of the new Warehouse Project venue in Trafford Park, they have today revealed the set times for tonight's event, which sees the likes of Claude Von Stroke, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, Julio Bashmore, Heidi & many more take to the stage. With the likes of Deadmau5, Rihanna, Drake, Example, Knife Party & Calvin Harris topping the bill at this year's Barclaycard Wireless Festival, it was already set to be one of the biggest weekends this Summer, but today the London-based event have unleashed another batch of massive acts onto their line-up. The Weeknd, Labrinth and Clement Marfo & The Frontline are the ones that stand out for me, but Childish Gambino, Modestep, Gemini, Jaguar Skills, Dot Rotten, Delilah, Chiddy Bang & Theophilus London all deserve a mention. Following the success of its first two years, Gottwood Festival is set to return for another awe-inspiring weekend of mesmerising electronic music, stunning visual displays and unique festival treats in 2012. Set in the deep and enchanting Anglesey-based forest location, the festival last year played host to the likes of Jamie XX, Lee Foss, Max Cooper, Round Table Knights and many more - however, this year they have stepped it up once again, by inviting the likes of Tiger & Woods, Huxley, Move D, Mosca, Dinky and countless other brilliant acts along for the journey. After finishing their most recent UK tour last night @ London's Shepherds Bush Empire, Rizzle Kicks are set to be back on the road as soon as next month, for another 9 date tour. Having had Random Impulse on their last tour, they are sticking with the upcoming UK 'urban' acts, by inviting the incredible Mikill Pane & Josh Osho along for the ride. After an incredible 2011, which saw him have three top 5 singles and his sophmore album reach number 1, Wretch 32 is now set to make his debut performance at the world famous Sankey Soaps in Manchester. The London-born rapper will be headlining the night on behalf of Twice As Nice, which basically made Ayia Napa a rival to Ibiza in the 90s, alongside DJ Ironik, Steve Sutherland & Matt Lamont. Radio 1 have today confirmed that Example, Ben Howard and the Lost Prophets have been added to this year's Big Weekend on Hackney Marshes. Also added to the bill are B.o.B, Madeon, Santigold, Gyptian, Sway, Delilah, Lethal Bizzle and Enter Shikari. Jay-Z will be headlining the event, which takes place on 23rd & 24th June, with Ed Sheeran and Jessie J also appearing. Feel gutted for anyone who hasn't been booked for this.
After the Creamfields line-up was announced last Friday, fellow Dance festival Global Gathering have today revealed the full line-up for their two day event in July. Alongside the most well-received stages, some new stages have been added this year, which will be hosted by UKF Bass Culture, A State Of Trance, Visionquest, Metropolis & Digital Soundboy. Tinie Tempah, Chase & Status & Friendly Fires are the three main headline acts across the weekend, with artists such as Armin van Buuren, Skrillex, Jamie Jones, Nero, Netsky & many more scattered across the Stratford-based site. Legendary Rock group the Foo Fighters have tonight been announced as the main headline act for this years Reading & Leeds Festival, alongside Kasabian & The Cure. Also on the bill are Paramore, Bombay Bicycle Club, You Me At Six, Florence, Enter Shikari, The Black Keys, Kaiser Chiefs, Katy B, Justice & many more. And there we have it - announced this morning on Chris Moyles' show, it has been confirmed that Hip-Hop superstar Jay-Z will be headlining this year's Radio 1 Big Weekend, which is set to take place 23rd-24th June in Hackney. The line-up was already looking strong with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Professor Green, Wretch 32, Michael Kiwunaka, Emeli Sande, Chase & Status,Calvin Harris & Swedish House Mafia on the bill - but the addition of Mr. Carter takes the weekend to a whole new level.

Golden Down Festival have recently announced their line-up for this year, which sees Four Tet, Roots Manuva & Lee Scratch Perry headline the Hampshire-based event that is set to take place on 15th-17th June. The event is a brand new festival on the scene and only holds 5,000 people, but with the likes of Kerri Chandler, Julio Bashmore, Ghostpoet & many more big names on the bill, this could well be one of the biggest weekends of the season. Alongside the big names there are also some of the world's most exciting acts in Electronic music, including the incredible Ben UFO, Space Dimension Controller & Pearson Sound. If you're not into big festivals, love good music and don't want to spend too much money, then Golden Down could well be the one for you this Summer.
