Synamatix - Hyponik 064 Mix

Deadplate label boss Synamatix, a man who’s take on the current UK bass scene is as on point as you could wish, brings us a smashing new mix for Hyponik. Having been involved in the continued development of the UK’s house/bass/dubstep story for a minute, the London-based label boss, DJ, blogger and producer has put together an hour of current sounds that is bristling with quality. One of the best mixes I've heard for a long time. Download below, tracklist after the jump.

Etta James - I'd Rather Go Blind (Lucky Paul Rework x Tribute)

Before releasing his new single 'Elephant Island' on Somethinksounds, New Zealand-based beat maker Lucky Paul drops off this beautiful rework of the Etta James classic 'I'd Rather Go Blind'. Paul keeps enough of the original to please the oldies, but adds some enchanting bass and twisting Electronic sounds to bring it all the way into 2012. Beautiful, sorely missed.

SBTRKT - Hold On (Them Jeans Remix)

LA-based producer Them Jeans adds some head-nodding House flavour to one of my favourite tracks from SBTRKT's highly praised self-titled debut album. Sampha sounds amazing over anything, but this is a stunning remix and you can download it below.

Chez Damier - Can You Feel It (Steve Bug Remix)

Chez Damier's 'Can You Feel It', one of my favourite House tracks of all-time, gets brought back to life in 2012 by the legendary Steve Bug. Nothing will ever beat the original, or the New York Dub version, but this is a top remix that will no doubt make it into many people's sets over the next few months. BOOM!

Bassnectar - Red Step (Mustard Pimp Remix)

Following the free remix package of 'Divergent Spectrum' that Bassnectar gave away last week, the Mustard Pimp boys have now taken 'Red Step' and turned it into a pulsating dancefloor destroyer. Bass, bass and a little more wonky bass.
