Q-Tip - Vivrant Thing (Jazzy Jens Remix)

12 years after the release of the original, Swedish producer Jens Helge has given one of Q-Tip's all-time classics a lovely jazz infused makeover. He brings the sample that inspired the track to the forefront, trading Dilla's distinctive thumping bass for the more popular strings-heavy sound of the day. Sick.

Drake - Dreams Money Can Buy

Not a single, but here is a brilliant track that Drake has let go from his highly anticpated sophmore album, Take Care. In my personal opinion, this is better than anything that was on Thank Me Later.

Stephen Marley - Made In Africa (Feat. Wale And The Cast Of Fela)

Here is the latest offering from Stephen Marley's upcoming album, Revelation Pt. 1: The Root Of Life, which will be available to buy on Monday. Beautiful song, even though he could have picked someone better than Wale for the feature.

Uncle Imani - L.A. Blaze (Feat. Blu & Luckyiam)

Pharcyde member Uncle Imani has drafted in Blu & Luckyiam for his new single, L.A. Blaze. Old skool mixed with nu-skool = dope.

Chris Faust - Looking Back (Feat. Outasight)

There have been a few bits leak from this over the past month, but last night I had the chance to listen to Chris Faust's debut album in full. Honestly, I believe that this will probably be one of the best Hip-Hop albums of 2011, yet amazingly he's decided to give it away for FREE! Below is my favourite track - you should probably click download if you like this.

Ed Sheeran - Zane Lowe Session

Ed Sheeran took time out from his current UK tour to drop into the Maida Vale studios to perform a live session for Zane Lowe and have a rather in-depth chat about things musical; from him upcoming debut album, to the influences he gained through long road trips from Yorkshire to London with his Mum and Dad as a child. Whilst at the famous studios he performed a small snippet of You Need Me, an ever brilliant rendition of his debut single The A-Team and an incredibly unique cover of the theme tune for his favourite TV show, The Wire, which you can hear below. You can also download all 3 MP3s HERE to add to your collection.

The Beekeepers - Long Way Down (Feat. Mystro)

Following on from the earlier Beekeepers post, here is another Mystro featured track from their recently released debut album, Apiculture. Really nice to hear Mys on a different kind of beat - smashing stuff.

The Beekeepers - Queen Bee (Feat. Mystro)

A massive new video and track from The Beekeepers debut album, Apiculture, which is available NOW! Featuring my favourite UK MC, Mystro, this is one of the best pieces of music that I've heard this year. Ian Gamester smashed it with the video too.

Edo G - Stop It x Life (Feat. Chali 2na)

Over the past few weeks I brought you the first two singles from this album, which are produced by DJ Premier & Statik Selektah. I was worried that the rest of the album wouldn't live up to these, but I'm pleased to say that it didn't disappoint and that this is the best Hip-Hop album of 2011 so far. It has a raw old skool sound, mixed with all the positive elements of modern day Hip-Hop, which creates a beautiful sound that wouldn't sound out of place in the golden era. I feel sorry for you if you spent money on Goblin when there are albums like this being released.
