Yesterday saw electronic up 'n comer Kaytranada drop a zip file on his Facebook page made up of 19 previously unreleased tracks. Just one of those tracks was 'Sober Thoughts' a collaboration with fellow much hyped up-start, 20 year-old emcee, Goldlink. The result is a beautifully crafted piece of electronic led Hip-Hop. In short, pure dopeness.

After almost 2 years since the release of their debut album Welcome Reality, British electronic music trio Nero have today premiered the first single to be taken from their highly anticipated sophmore effort. Entitled 'Satisfy', while the track undoubtedly marks a departure from the more Dubstep influenced sounds of their debut album, it's pulsating heavy bassline definitely won't dissapoint those who worried the group may have forgotten their bass orientated heritage. As Norweigan producer Kygo's burgeoning career continues to go from strength to strength, yesterday provided the perfect follow up to last week's annoucement that he had landed his first No. 1 in his home country of Norway, as Pete Tong played out for the very first time, live on Radio 1, the 22 year-old's official remix of the new single from Coldplay; 'Midnight'. For a producer, who 8 months ago almost no one had even heard of, I'd say that's pretty amazing and just another reason why we have a lot to thank the internet for.
