Alt-J - Hunger of The Pine

After what seems like an age away former Mercury prize winners Alt-J return with their first piece of new music since the release of their critically acclaimed debut album An Awesome Wave. The track, entitled 'Hunger Of The Pine', is a slow-building experimental number that blends indie rock with new age electronic sounds in a way that only Alt-J can. More suprising still it samples vocals from Miley Cyrus, the lyric 'I'm a female rebel' lifted from the singer's song '4x4'. Suprises aside, Alt-J are back and sounding better than ever.

Blonde - Higher Ground (feat. Charli Taft)

Premiered yesterday, the Blonde boys are at it again, this time collaborating with up-and-coming London vocalist Charli Taft on bouncing new track 'Higher Ground', which sees the lads channel the same infectious electronic sound that has won them so many plaudits so far and will be available to download from August 10th.
